By the way, anyone read the (Very long and ongoing) Samael Hawke/Merrill fanfic? It's... Well... Hate/love best describes it... And my view on it... With some batsh!t insanity tossed in.

I couldn't actually find more than very short entries for FanFics with Merrill&FemHawke. Are there longer ones?

Yeah, it's the meter. I just needed 5 more points. I got it saved, so if I'm still not liking Isabela's romance, I can go back.

I agree, I'm always reminding default Hawke rape face and the way he says "you're adorable when you're flustered" during the romance scene, when I think of him and Merrill togheter.
I found that a litte creepy, since he looks older with that beard while she always looks so young and delicate.. hopefully, one can customize the character!

I haven't played a female warden yet. Personal preference with me being male. I play straight men because that's what I am. Never thought Leliana was only making an exception. She seemed to accept every gender. Flirting with Morrigan and Alistair both in banter.

I was referring JUST to default male hawke, It wasn't about complaining of heterosexual romance with Merrill! My Hawke is male too, as you can see in my profile picture, and romanced her as well..

Merrill's scene should trigger as soon as you hit 50 points (even in Act 3)

1)  as long as you've flirted with her.
2)  the Isabela romance has no effect on this at all, afaik.
