Quite honestly, I want another PISSED OFF Merrill scene. I dig those.

Oh wait, my mage pisses her off once but that's not a big deal.

I don't know; I think she'd consider everyone her friends, even the ones that disliked her. She seems the sort.

On that subject, how the hell does Isabela wear her bandana? I'm trying to picture how she ties it around her head and I can't do it.
Is it somehow welded to her forehead via magic?

Merrill doesn't quite have the figure for Izzy's outfit. But it's cute anyway.

It has to be...or it would fly off when she's doing back flips.

I'm just wondering how Izzy's managing Merrill's, there. I know she has a habit of stretching out a female Hawke's shirts, but I'm not sure how she'd even get into tiny little Merill's in the first place.
On the subject of clothes, when has Merrill been around Izzy with Izzy's boots off? Obviously it's a regular occurrence, because "that's why I've been finding marbles in my boots" doesn't sound right for a one-time thing. And it's not like Merrill's beating Isabela at strip poker. Do they go frolicking together? (If Merrill is willing to play Isabela's card games, it only seems fair that Isabela be willing to do a Merrill activity with her.)

I find that funny b/c her house is actually really nice compared to, say...Gamlen's.

Hmmm...but if they are frolicking, when would Merrill have time to drop marbles into Isabela's boots?

Oh, maybe they go swimming? Except that Merrill doesn't swim nearly as well as Isabela, so after a while she goes back and hangs out on the beach with their stuff and just watches Isabela. And probably tries to tell the seagulls about Dalish history.

Well... Isabela was probably letting her win *one* game...

It ties around her head and knots at the base of her skull/top of her neck, under the hair. It's basically keeping her hair off her face. Very practical, if you discount the backflips.
I sometimes wonder if she doesn't wear pants to make her cartwheel kicks more of a shock and awe offensive move. I guess that depends on what underwear she's wearing.
And I don't think Isabela is fat (we Hispanic boys love women with meat on them), but it would be amusing to see Isabela squeezed into (and slowing squeezing out of) Merrill's clothes.

Which just makes your suggestion all the more likely, if you ask me.

She also doesn't need a cute little sister figure, but consider how much fun she is with one. (Haha, how's that for topic!)

More like underwear.
If it was a thong, we'd see more ass.
