That's a lot of sex. It's a wonder they have the energy to fight off all those street gangs.

They're people, draken-heart, not rabbits.

But to be serious, Tobias Hawke and Merrill do a combination of what the two of you have said. They walk Daemon the Mabari. They converse about Elven history, human history, philosophy, mages and Templars, and other things. They work on the Eluvian. They have sex.

They also head down to the Hanged Man every Saturday to gamble with the rest of the companions.

Isabela usually convinces the gang to make it into strip poker.

They do other things too, but that's some of what they do.

(Yeah, that's an awfully boring response. I'm working on a fic where this gets answered ultimately, too, though.)

they might not have done that stuff in the time skips, that is kinda when i was wondering about what they do.

anyway just wondering, if you romance Merrill, it is said that the other nobility don't like merrill living with Hawke as his/her lover. But, how did they find out that Hawke was in love with an elf?

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Thedas did have some sort of way to get scoops on nobility. Hell there were gossips in DAO, so it's possible that people are paparazzi-ish in Thedas.

But a more likely scenario is that Hawke and Merrill were scene holding hands and skipping throughout Kirkwall. Which is good, because that's just what Tobias Hawke and Merrill do on a daily basis

Or both Hawke and Merrill are screamers.

Paparazzi or loud sex aside, it would be hard not to notice a shiny armored elf going in and out of Hightown from the Hawke Estate. At all. Over three years.

hey all, just got to thinking, do you think that Merrill goes to the fancy parties if Hawke (male or female) romances her? not just the one in MotA, but the ones in Kirkwall? would love to see that.

The Champion probably has sufficient status to get away with taking her - and my Hawke at least would rather enjoy scandalising Kirkwall society. Whether Merrill would want to go, I'm not so sure

High society is a bit too cruel for the likes of Merrill. I imagine it'd be like Kaylee chatting up the rich girls in Shindig, except the scene begins with a noble ordering Merrill to fetch them a drink and ends with Hawke beating the ever-loving s**t out of them.
