Did I say logos? I meant, good mottos or something.

Or is just a long "SQUEEEEEEEE" good enough?

it would depend on the particular image and the effect you want to generate with it

I did. Most of the Lady Hawke banners you see around here I did, except the ones with gold lettering.

if u look in the ign preview femhawke is talking to someone who summoned a demon. given the forest setting....was it merrill?

makes sense dalish mages can summon demons and spirits. Zathrian did that quite well.

Also velanna did too considering sylvans are possessed trees, thus making the "come alive"

By the way, you put Marril in your Signature, or was that intentional?

Just a thought, do you think that Merrill will make any sort of comments if you import a Dalish Warden? Seeing as people suggested that she liked the Male Dalish Warden, I hope that she'll say something if a male Dalish is still alive or sacrifices himself. Better get started on finishing my Dalish Awakening run plus DLC :D. P.S. Beerfish, your avatar is UGLY!!!!

Glad to hear she's "cute" this go around as opposed to.. well...

Let's just say that I felt the Merrill in the first game needed a leash and collar.

(and I'm just referring to personality here... I'm still making up my mind about looks.... need more screenshots)

Thinking about it, it's probable my male mage Hawke will be hanging around with an all-fem party most of the time : my warrior'd better be a tank so that would be Aveline since she wields a shield, I prefer close-combat rogues to archers so that would be Isabela rather than Varric, and I like having a second mage around so I'll keep Merrill in my pocket. Let's hope there's some pimping mage robes to complete the picture.

"She is cute", I can understand. "She looks unique", I can also understand. "She doesn't look like a human with pointy ears anymore!" I cannot understand, because the elves (as I include Fenris in this) still look like humans with pointy ears to me. Not that that's a bad thing, I don't mind the Humans with Pointy Ears look. It just puzzles me when people say they're glad the elves don't look like pointy-eared humans anymore. Mayhap I'm too used to Final Fantasy and its Furries...

I don't think you can find humans with eyes that big. Her facial structure is different than a human's--close, and I wouldn't think she was an alien if I saw her walking down the street, but she'd startle me. She doesn't simply look like a skinny human, I think.

Indeed. Their body structure is different, their ears and eyes are different, even their noses (which you will see when you get a better look at them) as well as their overall skull shape. We're not going for alien... they're still humanoid, just as the dwarves are... but simply an identifiable silhouette that doesn't require you to see their ears, first.

she might be disappointed in you if she wanted grandchildren

or Grandma hawke could be a little "old fashioned" and think that Carver should not have a child with an elf....GASPS:blink:

Given she left her (noble) family to marry a commoner and an apostate...I don't really think she'd have a leg to stand on.

Of course, she could try to take issue with it and then you throw it back into her face. That'd be fine too.

If you need suggestions for a banner, how about about "Merrill: She's a keeper"?

That's it, the search is over. We have ourselves a slogan. "Merrill... Because She's a Keeper."

I can't see how it could get better than that from here. Feel free to disprove me with better slogans if you guys want, but right now I have a feeling that's the perfect sig slogan. Corny and groan-worthy.

It's just awesome.
