Now I know why Harvesters make an appearance in DA2. They have this tail tentackle... And it's quite big. given the level of cutiness we have here i gather another plot twist has just been uncovered. Harvester will snatch Merrill and.. utilize her.

Having the apparently only Dalish Warden who is not "I hate all shems I want them to die!" out there, I approve of the apparently non-incredibly-hostile personality it seems that Merrill will have (I always felt Velanna was pretty bad for Dalish PR), but writers, reassure me she'll still be recognizably Merrill if you loved the origin? Like I think Isabela is looking wonderfully fleshed out but still the Isabela we knew from DAO.

I'm hoping that Merrill too will be fleshed-out but still Merrill from what seems to be the least favorite origin out there? Or am I going to be one of the few people who even know she seems different? :-P

I am really trying to moderate my disappointment, but being a Dalish fan, it's hard to do. After Velanna, I was hoping for a Dalish character who was neither "die shem" nor... this. Basically someone you could actually take seriously, rather than a caricature.

Desperately trying to keep an open mind, failing.
