It is no problem, I just don't people to start arguing or getting heated because I asked about the two of them (I know its a pretty touchy subject, so I tried to kind of stay away from mentioning the backgrounds). I would feel bad then. XD

Yea, I was kind of aiming for a dramatic, kind of semi-tragic end for her and Alistair, without killing him.

The lonely hero role and all, heh.

If you romance Alistair and spare Loghain the scene at Arl Eamon's after the Landsmeet is pretty intense. Before I tried that path my character hadn't really done anything to ****** Alistair off, so having him be *so angry* was an eye-opener. The breakup is really well done. It gave me flashbacks to a bad breakup I had IRL -- got cold sweats and everything. If Loghain goes out in a blaze of glory you will get the impression after the coronation that Alistair has calmed down somewhat and understands you did what was best, but the interaction is still... awkward. Your relationship will never be what it was. Again, very well written and true to life.

Kind of excited to see it then. I like a bit of intensity and raw emotion. :D

I can justify sparing Loghain thusly:

Loghain is guilty of treason and worthy of death, but this is subject to the royal prerogative of mercy. Anora provides this in confidence to you at Eamon's estate, although Alistair and Eamon do not hear it. However, my warden believes Loghain should die, but he also believes he should marry Anora for the greater good as he does not recognise Alistair. There seems to be a bug concerning marriage to Anora and having Alistair kill Loghain, so, in perfect hindsight, realising that a warden must be sacrificed to end the blight, he pulls a fast one on Anora and spares Loghain, if it can be called that, only for execution at a later date by the Archdemon. Unfortunately, this is done at the expense of Alistair, who throws a wobbly and goes into exile despite being spared himself. If only I could explain my politics in-game to Alistair...

You'll get that. If anything, he's even more angry if you were in a romance. By Awakening, he's civil, but you aren't friends anymore, and he certainly has no romantic feelings.
