Probably another obvious answer for this, but I don't see it yet. Just found the Hammerhead and it looks as if it's going to need to make some altitude in order to travel very far. There was a tooltip saying use Left Shift to Jump, which sounded a lot like what I need, but I don't find any key/mouse combos that do anything other than move around very close to the deck. After crashing and burning a few times thought I'd better ask for help. What am I missing this time, guys?

First thing I would do is to check the key mappings under game options. If you have remapped the keys for any reasons, the in-game tips dont recognise the fact they have changed, and will tell you to use the defaults.

Thanks Bogsnot! Turns out that E makes her jump. Don't know how it got remapped but you were dead on. Now all I've got to do is learn to 'fly' the thing.
