I left someone with him once and had trouble closing the door in the big room off to the right. So now I never leave anyone with him, his health meter never gets below a half. I play on veteran. Thats hard enough for me.

...and I feel exactly the same way about skankranda......I would gladly pay for dlc that would allow me to blow that ****'s head off on the Cerberus space station....I take absolute pleasure in letting that tamahu die.

I've actually found Jacob to be quite useful. I bring him for pull with thane or Miri and just hotkey warp bombs. He'd be better in combat if they let him use an AR or SMG as they strip defenses better. Personality wise, if he was turian, he'd be Garrus.



On topic though. Garrus health drops alot faster while you're closing the shutters. Also Garm beats the he'll out of him on insanity so another target up there is helpful

When you go down the garage, Garrus can only be attacked from one direction - the other one is covered by you, and for the time being, we don't expect the krogan ambushers yet -, one which he has defended pretty well this far.
And you do against overwhelming odds, on top of that you're attacked from three directions while Garrus is sheltered in a well defensible position.
So tactically it makes sense to bring your squad. Jacob is right.
