So I recently bought NWN2 platinum from Steam.

And everything ran fine until I reached the bandit camp from Fort Locke.

Now every time I try to load save from there I get a crash and this message:

"Assertion Failed

Program: ...
File: ./exoresman.cpp
Line: 4174

Expression: 0&&"huge file requested in resource manager, please see exoresman.txt in the log for info."

Thing is I got multiple saves that for some reason don't work and I don't feel like restarting the whole thing.

Anyone has any idea?

Sorry to say but this is due to a corrupt save folder. The only way I got around this was to load an older saved game, that was not corrupted, and replay from there. I also deleted the corrupted saves. Lost 4 hours of play time:(

Don't always use the same save slot... it will corrupt your save.

How much free space do you have on the drive?

Plus, you need to give your error message.
