Jesse Houston has tweeted that this Thursday he can talk about his 'big work special project'.

What do you think this is? Something about ME2 on PS3 (he led the team that ported it)? DLC? ME3? Or something we know nothing about?

(All previous DLCs have been announced on Thursdays if memory serves me right).

Not long until we find out either way.

Update: Looks like it's regarding ME2 on PS3 and PSN, nevermind. Back to waiting folks!

Well it sounds like DLC which would be awesome but I don't want to get my hopes up too high.

Actually "big" sounds more like an expansion but that would just be unfathomable awesome.

Maybe ME3 news? Or something else entirely? That wouldn't make any sense unless it was non game related since ME3 has just been announced.

If it's anything but ME2 story content I don't think I'll be interested. But I guess we'll find out within the next days.

Good find, morrie. I think it'll either be DLC related or has nothing to do with Mass Effect, because what else can they say about the PS3 version? And new ME3 info so soon? I doubt it.

Well I thought we'd be waiting for ME3 info but we've already gotten glimpses at ElderscrollsV and even some hard info, and they were both announced at the same time. I think we'd be waiting untill at least late feb for ME3 info but then again, there are alot of big games coming out this year, ME3 needs alot of coverage so people want to buy it instead of all the other great games.

Then again, all I can really do is hope, but yeah ME2 DLC info would be awesome.

Here's hoping they announce dev tools or mod kit for ME2 or ME3.



Either that or I'll settle for an ME2 full expansion.

I was always under the impression ME2 would have a very large bridging DLC.   Makes the wait to ME3 a lot more tolerable.  Well untill we finish it

True but remember when Christina tweeted that femshep players have something reeally special to look forward too. Forum went on overdrive thinking about everything, ie: a cure for Thane. In the end it was the Formal Dress on the Kasumi DLC. Nice feature but hype build up meant it was a slight anti-climax.



From that I understand why people want to be cautious over anything mentioned by the devs. However dont you think they will have learnt to be carefull what to say too? I have no doubt it is a big project and they have already announceed the PS3 and finished the project thus far. Thats why I am optimistic its something new and inclined towards a big DLC

In all seriousness, I dont think it will be a appearance pack, as Fiery said, such a thing is neither big nor special.

Any of you that have been following Bioware for any length of time, will know that these kinds of things almost always never live up to thier billing. It's kind of like a Bioware company policy to hint around at massive, huge, undeniably awesometastic, orgasmic, mind numbing things, and then they end up being nothing. So please, everyone hold your enthusiasm for your own sakes.



I can still dream though, and an expansion sure would fit nicely, plenty of achievement room under the 1750 cap, and a full expansion would really be a great lead in to the opening events of ME 3, especially if ME 3 starts with the Reapers on earth.

I hope it's:



- Story DLC for ME2

- New game in the ME universe

- A new IP



If it's something else I probably won't be interested.

I think it'll be DLC, I think the time for an announcement is about right.

My sincere hope is that it is ME2 DLC (that stars Ash/Kaidan). I wouldn't put money on it but one can hope.
