You know, if they made a multiplayer component, you could just pretend it doesn't exist like everyone did with Metroid Prime 2's multiplayer.

The problem is that if it's bad, it would have unnecesarily taken away from the SP campaign. Otherwise nobody would care if it was there. Kinda like the reverse of MDW (all of them).

Two conditions:





If it doesnt take time away from ME2 single-player and they are still able to craft an amzing singleplayer exprience.



If no gameplay elements are diluted or change to fit the multiplayer experience. I do want both games to be seprate expriences.

I am not against a Mass Effect focused multiplayer game, I am against a Mass Effect game with an MP mode tacked on. I think the Mass Effect universe would be a fantastic setting for an MP game, but tacking MP onto ME 3 is not going to do the franchise any favours and the fanbase appear to be largely against the move.

Yes, I vote for MP if it's engaging and can be done without detracting from the story of ME3. I think both can be done, so I vote for MP.

Putting it on a different disc or the same disc makes zero difference. Dev time is dev time.

Not really, they still have a whole year to go. There is still as much time as possible for them to make it happen.

........ME games take 2 years to create on their own, and that's without multiplayer.

Cramming multiplayer in there gives them even less time to make ME3 as polished and as epic as an end to a trilogy should be.

A year is a year, and that's still a limited time frame, especially when you need playtesting to make sure *EVERYTHING's* working properly, unless you want 5 Conrad Verner transfer bugs or Garrus talking in Ashley's voice.

There is a million games with multiplayer in them. If you're not satisfied with any of those, then why should this game be an exception... In such a case, expecting different results is madness.

Otherwise, we don't need ME any "better" than it already is. So, cheers and EOF.

If everybody thought like everyone who wants ME3 to have an MP component, we would be living on the streets with no chance of employment no thanks to a ****ty economy.
