Hhhmm odd, ive been through the deep trenches with 2 different toons and the ancient darkspawn was there, a third run through he wasnt. For the topsides honor quest.

I got the Spear Thrower from an orange Genlock Forgemaster in the Dead Trenches, I believe.



The Executioner's Helm dropped off of the Howe Knight at the end of the human origin story, but the second time I played through it did not. Maybe it's random?

The smith at Warden's Peak (or whatever it's called). You'll need the DLC to do it.

I believe I looted Spellweaver in the Wyrmling Lair before the Gauntlet during the "Urn of Sacred Ashes" quest

The Green Blade

You get this in Redcliffe village. There's a girl inside the Chantry at the entrance looking for her brother. He's in their house hiding in a cabinet in a room on the first floor. When you find him you can get the blade off him and you can choose to keep it.

After all those go to Denerim, Back ally should have a building to go into, should b on your map now.

The boss is named "Gaxxkang". A lot of people have trouble with him, he's more difficult than a High Dragon. A Glyph of Neutralization makes the fight trivial.

This is in Lothering, a reward for doing all of the Chantry quests, or at least one of the final two. Since I always do them at the same time I'm not sure which it's a reward for.

Aodh - I got this from a bandit/mercenary while clearing the alleys in Denerim. Might have been the Sergeant's quests though.

Oathkeeper - I believe this is the reward from completing the Chanter board quests in Loathering.

The Rose's Thorn - Vendor in Orzammar I think.

Anyone have any info on the Ancient Elven Armor? It's mid-level medium armor. I found the chest piece in the ruins in brecelian forest, and I recall finding a set of gloves somewhere, but I've not found boots.

I found the knight commander's helmet in Caesar's special stock (Denerim market place). However you need to complete the Antivian Crow's quests first before you can buy it.

This is the ending of the 1st Sergeant quest I believe, you will get a random encounter while traveling through Denerim. You will have to aid Sergeant and his men in defeating the band of mercenaries. THe axe is dropped by their leader Kristof.

Yo~  They're all the rage these days, them Elven Armours xD

The Boots, sadly, are located in a cabinet thingy in the Chantry in Lothering. You can get ze key from Ser Bryant~
Gloves are in the Urn of Sacred Ashes temple thingy, somewhere~
Helmet is obtained from the Hermit in the Brecia.. Brecillia...  The ****ing Forest.
And the Armour is in a coffin of sorts in the Elven Ruins within the ****ing Forest.

If you haven't gotten the boots BEFORE you clear just one of the main quests then sadness occurs as you will not be able to obtain 'em.

Now~  Since this thread seems like an excellent idea and I have tons of armour locations to contribute~ and I shall do so soon. Been looking all-over for Ceremonial Gloves, can't sodding find them.
Other than that, feel free to ask for armour or weaponry.

Never got the elven boots out of that cabinet, just poultices and crap for me. I remember getting the magister's shield once.. got a codex entry too. Don't remember where it drops >.< Anyone does?

Magister's Shield as in the Necklace?
If so then that would be in Denerim, the 'Deserted Building' inwhich you fight ze Blood Mage Leader. In his Bedroom in a chest is a Necklace called Magister's Shield, I believe.

To get the quest you need to find the dead body of a templar in the third back alley of Denerim.
Either activate the 'Dereliction of Duty' from Blackstone Irregulars or go through the 'Back Alley Justice' from Denerim Chanters board.

Once you get ze body a location should open up ^__^  Clear the building and claim your reward!

Any word on elven boots? Is it random spawn, since I never got it.

If you put on the Armor, Gloves, and Boots of Diligence, you still don't get the complete set bonus. Oddly enough, you do if you include the Grey Warden helmet you get in the Orphanage, I think it was...

For touching the statues for Yusari in the Mages Tower, are you supposed to get hurt? Or am I doing it wrong. >_>

It means you hit the statues twice, when you first hit them nothing happens so its hard to tell if you did it at all =\\



Just hit it then continue to the next statue you need to hit

In another post somewhere, the PC version of the game is bugged and you don't get the elven boots in Lothering. A BioWare rep said that they where looking into this bug and would post a patch for it. The Xbox & PS3 versions of the game don't have this issue.
