I didn't know whether to post this topic into the Mass Effect or Mass Effect 2 Tech Support section, but I am having trouble loading my save file from Mass Effect into the sequel.

I've tried searching Google, other forums, etc. But nothing's worked.

Tried:

- Replaying the ending twice.
- Not skipping any dialogue and letting the credits roll.
- Deleting any other unused careers.
- EDIT: Cleared the cache on my 360 and re-downloaded the system update.

When I try and import into Mass Effect 2, I can't scroll to it because the file's in yellow, meaning that it's an incomplete game, even though I beat the last battle with Saren three times.

Sorry if there's already been a thread about this, but I really need help. Put a lot of hours into completing a majority of the game.

Thanks.

Have you tried using the D-pad to scroll?

Good lord, I feel like a n00b... I appreciate the help. I thought I did that, but I guess I didn't.  Thanks for the help.

Lol, don't worry about it! This question is pretty frequent on this forum so you're not alone. I too made the same mistake for example. It's rather strange that you cannot use the analog sticks.

I found that rather strange too. I'm glad that I'm not alone in this at least. I was looking through all these forums on the internet and no one said anything about that, so I assumed it was some sort of internal error from the Xbox or a corrupted file. Hope someone learns from my mistake!
