Ok I am so freaking frustrated I can't even explain it, On NWN1 if you DM, you can Ctrl - Left click to select an npc, then ctrl click to have them move, but on NWN 2, its like it dosn't exsist at all! I've tried Ctrl left clicking, Shift, nothing selects the npcs except Right clicking, which all that does is target them, is there no way to have NPCs walk where you want them without possessing them? This is geting rediculous and its impossible to DM at all without having to control every single character at the same time. Is there a toggle iam missing or something? Any help would be GREATLY apprecaited, I am ripping my hair out and about to just play NWN for the sake of NPC movement.

If you go into options --> key configuration, you can set a mouse button to control that. I forget exactly what, but I think it's under either miscellaneous or DM functions. You can also set it to use a certain key combination, but I have not gotten that way to work.

Once you have it set, you can just click that button and drag a box around the NPC(s) to select them and then SHIFT + click to move them. Hope that helps.

The NWN2 Client Extension provides this functionality -- you can move or teleport NPCs (or even PCs) without having to possess them, even if they are across the map from your DM avatar.

The CE also lets you perform drag selections on its area map and assign those selections to hotkeys (i.e. Ctrl-1 to set group 1, '1' to recall group 1, if the CE area map has focus). The CE readme has full details if you're interested.

Are you using DMFI? You can do it with DMFI as well.

As far as I know every PW runs DMFI.. but figured I would ask.
