Lion of Orlais Shield: At the height of the Summer War all of Orlais was embroiled in fierce battles. Over the course of the war dozens of contenders for the Imperial Throne emerged – most long forgotten except as footnotes in scholarly tomes. But everyone remembers the gallant young lord Emile Deveraux, “The Golden Prince”. Thought outnumbered at every turn, he racked victory upon victory culminating in the Seventh Battle of Roses. While wearing this shield he broke through his uncle’s vanguard to win the day. He never knew the taste of defeat, instead meeting his end at the hands of a jealous lover in the dead of night.

Those sound pretty cool actually. Much more interesting than the items we got for preorders last time. I ordered from Amazon due to my own personal hatred for Gamestop though. Amazon doesn't have anything up yet.. but fun fact! DA2 is now their best selling game.

This is a really good way to make early weapons scale up through the game. Hopefully is implemented properly ie. +X% damage/level gained or similar.

Sounds pretty neat but I'm also pre-ordered through Amazon which has $1 release date delivery vs Gamestops $10 scam. Also I'm willing to bet Amazon and other major retailers will get their own exclusives, just like last time.

Agreed, the cynic in me thinks its probably a ploy to tempt people into cancelling their SE so they can order from somewhere else to get the bonus they prefer then have to pay to get the extra character. Its bloody annoying at the very least.

Typically vendor-specific pre-order bonuses are applied to all pre-orders made with that vendor, regardless of which SKU was pre-ordered. In other words, "yes, probably."
