The least immersion-breaking way of having a player's goodies show up would be to have a chest dropped by Templars fleeing Lothering or some such. Hawke finds the box of Chantry relics next to its slain guards or something. It would explain the value of the items, and prevent the nasty question of a poor peasant having such things cluttering the hut.

idk lol...just guessing since it's a Qunari weapon, they so big anything they use would be a two hander for us >.<

No. In other words, use common sense. Sten was trained with two-handed weaponry, wasn't he? It's only logical that a sword meant to hearken back to his character would be two-handed.

Or you can just wait. Either or.

in qunari culture those without horns are actually considered special as they are meant for a special role in Qunari society

That's how I feel. Having too many bonus items at the beginning of the game just always feels weird. Especially when we're fleeing and supposed to be refugees with little to our name.

Gamespot's look pretty good. I still have to wait to see what Amazon says since that is where I pre-ordered from.

That's so ****ing retarded. Why would you announce this now? I always order from Amazon but I would have deff got them from Gamestop if I knew about this! I always play sword and board warrior first play-through... that shield is absolutely perfect!



I guess I should just chill out though. We haven't seen what Amazon has yet. It also gives me a lot of faith in Bioware... can't wait to see what else they got.!

STEN is not a god damned name. Sten is a RANK, Qunari do not have names, not the way we do. Just because "Sten" in Dragon Age Origins was "a" STEN of the Berasaad that does not mean that this sword belonged to OUR STEN nor that all the Sten ranked Qunari use two handed swords. this sword could have belonged to any Sten ranked Qunari, even one that was only trained with sword and shield.

you are the one who made the leap of logic that since the sword is named "might of the sten" and "sten was trained with 2 handers" then the sword has to be a 2 hander.
How exactly do you get to be sarcastic now about having a grasp of the lore?
