I can't see why the PC should be the only one getting some.  That knife-eared actor in BGII was more than welcome to Aerie, in my perspective.

I'm totally calling dibs as soon as I can decide who I'm getting with, though.  Carver gets my sloppy seconds.

On my Bethany play-through she will be chaste on pain of death, unless she gets together with some nameless NPC my Hawke would never have an interest in.

I'd love to see some inter-party relationships going on. I mean if Anders is there, he's TOTALLY been with Isabela. Those two are far too sensible to pass up on that opportunity. I imagine the conversation would have gone something like:



Isabela: You're hot!

Anders: So are you.

Isabela: My room's this way.

Anders: All right!

Did you ever have party banter triggering when the two characters speaking were really far apart? For some reason, I've decided this is the case for this conversation and everything here is shouted.

How is Isabela masculine? And it sounds like Merrill does not have massive breasts, going by what was said in the Dev Diary thread.

In all honesty, I don't know how I'd react. Depending on who the LI was, I'd probably let them have him/her. Except Isabela. Or Aveline (if she's even an LI). Because, raowr. 

Did I see someone mention Merril and Carver? That would be adorable.

I won't have Carver in my first canon-import, but later in other playthroughs, he is not the elder, and I will not tolerate back talk. I am torn about which girl my canon Hawke will fall in love with. Merril got a good makeover and she is Dalish, and I have wanted a fem Elf L.I. ever since I realized we couldn't in Origins. Isabela is a Rivaini seductress and I like playing characters that go after the "Forbidden Love". Creates a good "B" story

Maybe Isabela can join Merril and I or vice versa. Isabela does like both sexes

And the forumers would complain that the companions can take each other's clothes off while we (the player) cannot. I am going to be genuinely disappointed if this doesn't happen now.

What if a new Qunari companion is announced? Bearing in mind the devs said there will be no female Qunari, at least in the current game, he'd likely be one of the horned buggers.

I hope Hawke's siblings DO show interest in... whoever. In DA:O the Warden could just sleep his or her way through half the companions while everyone who didn't get talked into a tent by mister or miss ****face Cousland/Amell/Mathriel/Whatever just... sat around like the chaste, lifeless shells that they were.

I believe a dev said there will not be a Qunari companion of any gender in this game.

And on the topic of Isabela I would kind of like to see her be "untameable", meaning that you might win over her affections and she might really truly be in love with you, but she would never be monogamous. Because some people are just like that and generally, trying to change the one you're with is just a futile endeavor. She'd just be like "What's the problem, Kitten? You're the only one I love." and flit away and you'd just sort of sigh and shrug because it's not like you didn't know what you were getting yourself into when you fell for her.

I like imagining Hawke being the responsible loving big brother and despite his feelings for a LI, he lets Carver/Bethany pursue him or her.

...it just occurs to me that male Hawke could fall in love with a straight male LI, and for extra fun, has to watch Bethany and said LI develop a romantic relationship. I dunno but the idea makes me giddy.

Carver can have Isabella. In fact, I'd lead him to her room. She's not worth the risk of AIDs. However, if she is an LI, Merrill will be completely off-limits to Carver; he touches, he'll get a mouthful of fireball. As for when I do a Lady Hawke play-through, my sibling is more than welcome to have at Gonorrhea Girl; but Fenris, if he really is an LI, is a no-no. A big no-no.

Personally I've been waiting for an rpg where some of the characters you dont romance, romance each other. It always seemed odd that you were the only person to romance someone. IF bioware does include siblings who romance other party members I would be ecstatic.

Aveline is the masculine one. Isabela just doesn't sit well with me. Maybe I'll grow on Isabela or Merrill anyway

Aren't BioWare already confirmed about no romance between companion and companion, but Isabella might flirting other companion during panty banter or actual cutscene, which won't work.
