I just want to hear her voice, or see at least some footage of her before release. Also, I'm in agreement that an upper class English accent would make for a nice voice à la Male Hawke.

If they're not going to show her in a trailer, at least show some pictures of her being badass.

That's why they don't show her. They know that she's much more badass than MaleHawke.

But seriously, we want Lady Hawke. And don't give us that crap about "marketing" and "men" and "wanting to play men." Why do you think Lara Croft's so popular?

I don't disagree, but I was merely stating a fact about Bioware's marketing strategy. They're doing something that works, and I can't really blame them for that.

Anyways, movie title or not, I still like the way it sounds better than FemHawke... not that the choice of nickname's nearly as important as getting to see her in action...

I've never got the issue a lot of blokes seem to have with playing female characters - I play them almost exclusively, when I get a choice. Probably wouldn't in a multiplayer envirenment, though... I've heard things about the attitudes of some of the online 'players' to people with female characters. Not that I'm much for multiplayer anyway...

I agree here, but I'd settle with a few lines spoken by FemHakwe It's about the only thing I'm still uncertain about - do I like her voice?

How are you stating 'a fact?' The latest preview has images of Lady Hawke. Mike has already said that he intends to give us a sample of her voice before the game comes out.

AFAIK, they haven't come out and said it, but that was the attutide behind the 'iconic Shepard' for ME, so it seems likely, to me, at least, that that's what they're doing with Hawke. That said, IIRC, they did give us a chance to seem FemShep before release... I know I saw footage of the female character generation before ME was released; can't recall whether I heard the voice.

The devs will never do this. They enjoy making money and I can't really fault them for it. Once the numbers of female gamers to male gamers gets closer you may see some change in this, but I wouldn't count on in the next decade or so.
