Oh wait, she's badass all the time.
That's why they don't show her. They know that she's much more badass than MaleHawke.

If they're not going to show her in a trailer, at least show some pictures of her being badass.

My thoughts exactly!

If you ask me, default FemHawke would make a far more appealing posterchild. Even to most male gamers.Schneidend wrote...
Not likely to happen. Male Hawke is the game's posterchild just like Vanderloo Shepard is Mass Effect's posterchild.

All we've seen of fem!Hawke are a couple of screenshots.

I think she's busy playing with Varric.
But seriously, we want Lady Hawke. And don't give us that crap about "marketing" and "men" and "wanting to play men." Why do you think Lara Croft's so popular?

I don't disagree, but I was merely stating a fact about Bioware's marketing strategy. They're doing something that works, and I can't really blame them for that.

You realize that 'Ladyhawk' is the name of a movie, right?
Nope. Had a feeling I'd heard it somewhere, but not a big film buff myself. Any good?
Anyways, movie title or not, I still like the way it sounds better than FemHawke... not that the choice of nickname's nearly as important as getting to see her in action...

Playing with Varric -
Yeah, Lara Croft's well known for her marketing assets...
I've never got the issue a lot of blokes seem to have with playing female characters - I play them almost exclusively, when I get a choice. Probably wouldn't in a multiplayer envirenment, though... I've heard things about the attitudes of some of the online 'players' to people with female characters. Not that I'm much for multiplayer anyway...

I agree here, but I'd settle with a few lines spoken by FemHakwe

How are you stating 'a fact?' The latest preview has images of Lady Hawke. Mike has already said that he intends to give us a sample of her voice before the game comes out.

AFAIK, they haven't come out and said it, but that was the attutide behind the 'iconic Shepard' for ME, so it seems likely, to me, at least, that that's what they're doing with Hawke. That said, IIRC, they did give us a chance to seem FemShep before release... I know I saw footage of the female character generation before ME was released; can't recall whether I heard the voice.

Where do you like playing as a female character, just out of curiosity? On stage?

C'mon, Mr. Laidlaw, don't be evil, just this once! Let us hear and be amazed!
I fully support evil, but *some* FemHawke info would only rise us into a tizzy enough to demand more, which, will work for evil, as the raised threshold of excitement will only be more fun to squash down after?
?
(did that work?)

Exactly! If the Devs really were as evil as they like to think they are, they would give us info!

Yes, I would love to hear the voice over, find out who is doing it, see if it feels right. XD
I played the demo as F!Hawke, and her voice is just... it's so beautiful. It sounded Brittish, or that's what I remember. It really fits her, if I may say so

Please tell me she doesn't have that British upper class stuck up kind of tone that MaleHawke has.
