I'm trying to buy 1600 points, but whenever I click "continue" after I enter my card information, I get the error in this thread's title, despite the fact that the CSC I entered is the exact same as the number on the back of the card. I've tried this with two different cards in both the ME2 and DA stores, still getting the same error.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Same thing with me, I tried with 800 points though. It says "Card CSC is invalid." every single time.

They recently updated the BP store - I'm guessing that whoever did it didnt do it very well, and would suggest that you all go to support.ea.com to try to get this straitened out.

I just spoke with someone at EA support, if your cards are debit ones, you're out of luck, they don't accept them.

Well I was using a credit card, so that doesn't really apply to me. And I find that hard to believe anyway considering that the store itself describes the payment option as "Credit/Debit Card".

Definitely sounds like someone somewhere screwed something up.

Yeah Bioware thanks for not accepting my card with all the correct information and making me talk to the deaf credit card operator to verify charges that did not go through.

My girlfriend just added her points using a debit card. I've tried a debit card, another debit card, and a credit card. None work. Real botched up.

I'm having the exactly same problem here with my AmEx (my lovely's actually) card, CSC invalid.

Tried on both of our computers, several times, no success. It worked well previously, it also works well with other transactions (such as WoW for example).

What can I say? It'll either be fixed, or BW and EA will lose some money as I -and most of us, I guess- won't get another credit card just to pay for DLCs.

With some commercial sense, I'd expect this problem to be fixed in a week or two.

EA financial department promised to get in touch with me in 24 hours for investigating the matter further. That was three days ago.

I'd appreciate some BioWare push there. Or something else to fix the store, as the card clearly isn't the problem.

Or you'll sadly loose a bunch of customers with DA2 DLCs as we can't buy them.

Which is uncomfortable for both sides.

After reading this post: http://social.biowar...1585/1#5735096/
I went to the EA store(Europe) at http://common.ea-europe.com/eastore/ (instead of the BioWare-social-me2-points sites mess), and it actually worked. Took around an hour for my order to process, though.

thx Iphrit link what you give worked for me! Well... managed to purchase BW points... finally!

That BW/EA webshop system really sucks! at that point when customer decides give ot some green - everything must point in that direction! Not that i must find a way thru bears a**, how i can give out my coins!! That sucks!

And Iphrit is the hero of the day (or the hero of the day three days ago actually), I still have to check it out, but it seems to be the logical conclusion.

FYI they are also avlaiable in the form of redeemable codes in some countries in webstores. You know like Galaxisnet in Hungary and such.

I have never had any problem buying from small indie developers yet Bioware can't run a decent payment system? Pathetic.

I tried my Discover and Visa last night and they didn't work. However, I was able to buy 800 points last night by going to the general EA site, and then bought the "Lair of the Shadow Broker" that way. Now I want "Overlord" and there is no way to buy "560" from the general site. Very frustrating.

I'm writing this while I'm in chat with technical support and they suggested I start a thread in the forums! I sent them the link to this discussion.
