Chuck is a very poor show, I stopped watching after the second season.

I stopped watching after one episode.

BTW the show was co-developed by leading psychologists as a "divider". It divides people into smart and dumb. One group continues watching, the other doesn't.

Guess who does what...:P

Not sure.  Bit I am fairly sure about the intelligence of anyone who believes that kind of crap.

LMAO

Meh.......its hard to say.

Did they (writers/producers) know about her involvement in ME2? I dont doubt that...so its slightly possible. But considering I dont watch that show I cannot say if wearing skin tight leather suits is common or not.

Now if they include an excessive amount of ass shots, then yes it is a clear reference.

Well, speaking as someone who has watched the show many, many times over, I can tell you that tight leather suits is not common for her.

Yeah, I am pretty sure they're all aware of her involvement. I mean most of the male cast plays MEs and I wouldn't be amazed, if the producers had tried it.

Also this thread is about the episode and it's connection to ME2. The show is awesome, if you don't agree. I don't care, because my opinion is the only right opinion.  :innocent:

Joshua Gomez (who plays Morgan Grimes) actually posted on twitter a while ago that he tried (and somehow failed) to romance Miranda. Said that he couldnt bed Yvonne or her video game equivalent. :D

She might have been like "Yeah, I'm probably playing Miranda in the ME movie... so... let's get me brunette for a while, ok?"

When it comes to entertinment the only opinion that matters is your own.  No one can  convince me that Commando isn't one of the greatest action movies of all time for example.

She was just told "Basically this is a suicide mission"

And she said "I love a good suicide mission."

What a let down...she is absolutely gorgeous but the hair looks rediculous. It's looks a bit too much like a wig. Would be nice for her to go the extra mile and dye it. Either way she is a very attractive lady.

Ill admit I'm a Chuck fan. It is a shallow show, but entertaining, in the way that "The A Team" or "Knight Rider" were fun.

At first I was not sure about the Mass Effect References in last night's Chuck. I DO think they were intentional, but if they were going to make a reference, why couldn't they make it more obvious? If we, the ME fans, are not sure if it was intended or not, then would any less devoted fans get the joke at all?

The black wig was kinda fake looking, but I remember back when Yvonne Strahovski was interviewed about ME2, she was talking about Miranda's black hair and how she thought it was interesting. So, I don't doubt that she'd remember that when she wore a similar wig on Chuck.

Later in the episode, Sarah is wearing a skin tight black cat suit with knee high boots. Even though the suit is not identical to Miranda's outfit, I think it as close as someone is likely to get to Miranda's loyalty outfit without custom tailoring. Additionally, the costume didn't really fit with the plot at all. Why was she wearing this black outfit to break into a prison, during the day? It was out of place, even on this cheese-cake filled show.

Then there were a couple mentions of a "Suicide Mission" that have to be ME2 references, because this was not really that "suicidal" of a mission, compared to other missions they've undertaken on this show.

Adam Baldwin, who also stars on the show, also had a voice roll in ME2, as a Quarian.

Haha. Sarah is now officially loyal to Chuck. Hence the black outfit. Way to go Chuck! :D

So I just came across this new promo of the new episode of Chuck coming next week, and apparently Sarah, played by Miranda Lawson's voice actress, Yvonne Strahovski, will sport dark hair and a skin tight outfit that makes her slightly resemble our Miss Lawson. Anyone else think this is too much to be a mere coincidence?

To be fair, black hair and a black catsuit aren't exactly unheard of in spy comedies.

But I approve....

I dont post to forum very often... but if someone says Chuck is a poor TV show I have to respond. CHUCK is in the top 3 of my best TV shows. And it is an incredible show, the plot is simply a masterpiece ( idea of an intersect). Its so funny and sometimes serious. I love that show so much. Plus the actors are great!
