Of course, they may not know what they're talking about.  But they're probably correct.  Looks like I'm going to have to preorder a second copy if I want the sword and shield.  I plan on doing this trick:  preorder another copy from a retailer that offers it, get the code by e-mail, then return that copy unopened for a full refund and keep the SE I preordered from Newegg.  I don't like having to do this, but I was basically cheated of the sword and shield so I feel somewhat justified.

Yes, if you pre-order the game before Mar 8 then you'll get everything thing listed in the title. As for who's participating, it was suppose to be everyone, but it isn't the case in some places. I know gamestop is doing the offers in the US for sure though.

I preordered the Signature Edition from Game; and just last month when I went in I asked the manager if I would still get any more Downloadable contents (i.e The Black Emporium) and he said yeah it would be included as well. Best not have lied to mehh D:

Sounds epic. However if we are given the ability to customise our character when ever we want during game play, does that mean we can change gender and possibly race??? Even though i've been hear all over the net you cant change race.

I only ask, coz this is suppose to be some kind of magical mirror, therefore i presume it would have this ability.

You cannot change race(duh) and you cannot change sex. Only appearance of the face.

This has already been confirmed by the devs.

Thank you. I do know you cant change race, because it has been stated every where. My curiosity is with the Mirror of Transformation during game play. It states about the mirror 
The "Mirror of Transformation". Gaze into it and you can change your very appearance. Hair, eyes, tattoos, and more can be changed

It says more can be changed, so there might be a possibility of race or sex or something else.
But in retrospect, it doesnt really matter anymore, coz it'll be out in 8 days time.

omg so much bonus content in the Signature Edition!  makes me very happy I preordered it before January 11, lol.  I think the part I'm most excited about is the Mirror of Transformation.  I'm going to experiment so much with Hawke's appearance... lol

ok, i have a question which i think is really crucial. with the sword and shield bonus, can you only use it on one character, or say, if i create two fighters in two separate playthroughs, will i only be able to use it the first time, and the second char is on his own with regular equipment? or will it be as long as you have access to the content, any char u make can use it?

All that stuff shows up everytime you start a new character.  From what I understand, it's in a chest you come across early on in DA2.

how do i redeem the shield and sword? Their is no code, does it just show up automatically in the game once you start?

I have no idea how this works either...why can't they just make it simple and give out codes? My accounts are all messed up so it's nearly impossible for me to get most of the DLC working that has to be connected to the Bioware Social account. I love Bioware's games, but they make it so hard for us to redeem their promos...

WTF, I pre-ordered from GameStop and just picked up the game, but when I entered my code, I only gained access to the Black Emporium, not the Lion of Orlais or Fadeshear. How do I get my other stuff???

Im having trouble getting the lion of Orlais and Fadeshear. I got the sig edition, and pre ordered early to get them but when I put the codes in, they dont pop in with extras. I do have everything else but is there something that I need to do to go about getting these two items? I have the ps3 version by the way.

I didn't got any code which I could redeem and I also don't have Black Emporium or Sebastian Vael and all of those other bonus items. And this is making me angry (I preordered game in October, so I should have a Signature Edition). I looked on user entitlements but they aren't here.

I did. After talking with some guy at EA chat he gave me a code, but it unlocked only Exiled Prince DLC. No Black Emporium.

I was wondering if I was the only one that didn't get the lion of orlais shield and the fadeshear sword. I preordered from Game Stop and I got everything else. What do I need to do?

If you got it from Gamestop, there should be a code on your receipt and a Gamestop site to go to to redeem that code. Apparently, once you redeem that code, you will get the code for the Fadeshear and Lion Shield.
