If you got it from Gamestop, there should be a code on your receipt and a Gamestop site to go to to redeem that code. Apparently, once you redeem that code, you will get the code for the Fadeshear and Lion Shield.

I'll try that when I get home.  I remember there being some code on the receipt but it said something about a survey.  Is that the code?

there is no code on the receipt from gamestop. just a link to http://www.gamestop....DA2_PS3RAVE.pdf which tells you all you need to do is login to your EA account through the DA2 main menu screen. but i've done this and still have not received my sword or shield. besides, it seems that anyone would be able to do this to get the content, but it's supposed to be pre-orders only. i think something's not right.

my receipt says the same, "there is no code necessary for your fadeshear sword and lion of orials shield. But I don't have them

I per-ordered mine on 3/1 from Best Buy and there is no code on the receipt.. currently I'm waiting in a queue to chat with someone from EA. hopefully they'll be able shed some light where my codes are at.

I live in Canada and preordered DA 2 from EBgames on Jan.8 and after picking up my signature edition it only came with the online pass (Exiled Prince, Black Emporium, Soundtrack, and extra items). But no code to reedeem the Fadeshear or Lion Shield was it suppose to come with a code or will it just appear in game? I've preordered from EB for a while now and they never put codes on the receipt so this is a first for me and I'm sure other Canadians so any help would be greatly appreciated!

If anyone is still interested i somehow finally got the the sword and shield. I don't exactly know how i did, the only significant thing i did was register dragon age 2 on this website and then turned on my game on and it was in gamlen's house. I'm going to assume registering the game is what you have to do.

I've registered the game on this site and on my profile where it says "registered game content" the sword and shield aren't being displayed on the page. Unless its a bug I'm starting to believe it wasn't meant to come in the box but to be handed out separately as a voucher with a code to redeem it. For those who recieved the weapons did it come with a code or did you find the items in game?

Same issue here, I hate to point out there is a PROBLEM, but the total BS Amazon instructions aren't working ( which amount to "log in").....uh, how does EA know you pre-ordered the game? No fadeshear or shield of whatever either for me.

Make sure you check what items are attached to your account here: social.bioware.com/user_entitlements.php

And follow the steps in the 'More Info' link.

Also, make sure the email address and gamertag/psn name at the top of that page above is also what you see in your DA2 main menu after the game logs into the servers.  That means your game is correctly linked to your account and those items.

If you mean Fadeshear and Lion of Orlais, the retailer gives you them separate to the game. The Black Emporium comes with the game (assuming buying a physical copy). I assume digital copies have the codes emailed to you separately, but don't actually know.

Yes I'm referring to those weapons are they meant to be exclusive items to be purchased at a specific retailer (ex: getting Amulet of Ashes from Best Buy only). If not was it meant to be included in all signature editions regardless of which store you purchased it from as long as you pre-ordered before launch date?

I had to call Game Stop and the guy gave me the code for the sword and shield over the phone.  Everything else was included in the case.

i don't know what happened differently, but today when i logged into the game the shield and sword were in a chest in gamlen's house. i did nothing different today than yesterday.

 Just finished calling EB and they gave me the codes over the phone apparently they forgot to include them game. Anyways I now have all the content I'm entitled to so I can't complain. I have one final question before I go play DA2 my copy is for the Xbox 360 and when I input the code for the Soundtrack its listed as "PC/Mac" on the entitlements page. Is this an error or is the soundtrack not meant to appear in game?

I am so angry with EA.
I thought when i got my signature edition for the xbox 360 they would send a 25 digit code to redeem all the content once i put in the codes online. But no, i have to link it up with this site. Big problem, my account here wont allow me to sync with my xbox live account. So i have a whole load of special content that is now a paper weight.
If any of you guys knows EA number so i can shout at them it would be very much appreciated. Or alternatively know how to link up my account here to my user profile on xbox live, that would be amazing. Cheers.

Not sure if this has been asked yet but certainly not on the first 12 pages of this massive thread does the xp bonus from the Lion of Orlais shield apply to the entire party or just to the person wearing it?

i've decided this isuuse with peoplr and finding dlc is the fact that I can't find antwhere that says where and when you access it. I sugesst taking the direction of bethesda instruction manuals and say " to access your dlc and pre order extras...."

other than that, this game worlds better than DAO, in story and the fact PS2 version issues from DAO all look to be fixed, no slowdown and much more fluid movements.

In fact you guys need to give Ubisoft some pointers, AC:B was broken on the PS3. Until ACB I didnt know it was possible to undevelop a game engine from it's predessor undevol

I guess I should have added: you can't get them until you can access galems home. But I didn't see the sword or shield on my user entitlements after I followed the steps so I think you just jave to wait a day for things to get sorted out? I had them the next day

Okay, I've read through all of this and I have the PS3 version of the game which I preordered like a month or more before it came out. Yet I cannot get the sword and shield. Followed all the steps people say and still nothing. ANYONE have success with the PS3 version?
