Considering Bioware JUST now announced this information, I doubt Gamestop has updated there site yet. It has been confirmed that the mirror and mabari come with all NEW copies of the game.

I actually prefer this over using a companion slot for the mabari in DA:O.  I rarely used my dog in that game, simply because the other characters are more interesting.  This way, I can use all my companion slots for people and still enjoy party banter among three companions, but still have my dog in combat.  An all around win, I'd say

I'm also super excited about all of the other goodies.  The past few weeks have increased my excitement level for DA2 tenfold.
