I preordered from Amazon.co.uk, there's no mention of this stuff anywhere on their product page.



Instead of this:

There is this:

Anyone know what's going on? Because in the veeerry small print on the BioWare page they say



" Pre-order offer is available to all PS3 players when they purchase and login to the game with a valid EA account prior to May 31, 2011. Valid at participating retailers. "



I preordered before January 12th and now I hear this stuff won't be available if you preordered from Amazon.co.uk.

Welcome aboard just the same situation for every UK customer and none seems to care about it...however the Black emporium and the Exiled Prince DLC are inside the game.......i guess

Here in Sweden we are getting all the basics, shield, black emporium, dog etc. But also a "self-XP boost", sad to hear it`s different depending on retailer and location. Even here different stores give different bonus-items. I´m guessing the "better" the bonus-item is, the more the retailers have to pay Bioware for every copy. Are we getting greedy Bioware?

I just hope the SE exclusive content will be available for purchase later on (beside dthe Exiled Prince DLC) as well as the other two or three items availabel for preorders... it's too bad I can't preorder any type of videogame since amazon or gamestop don't deliver outside USA.

Just out of curiosity...how much of this is on the disc, and how much of it is DLC? I ask because I am in Afghanistan, and will not be able to hook my xbox up to the internet to download anything.

The Black Emporium DLC is included in all brand new copies of Dragon Age 2, just like The Cerberus Network for Mass Effect 2 or The Stone Prisoner DLC (Shale) for Dragon Age: Origins.

And no, no more Signature Edition. The soundtracks and The Exiled Prince DLC will be available on Day 1 and I'm quite positive that we'll see that 5 extra items, which are included in SE, sometime in the future

Bad news: even if it were on the disc, you would still need to authenticate it somehow (I talk about the Black Emporium DLC because The Exiled Prince should be available via download only.)

For example, the Expansion Pack #1 for Magic The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers was included in the main game but when that EXP Pack was released, you still had to download a small file (less than 1mb), so the game could know that 'OK, you can access more cards, new challenges and so on. Enjoy!'

This was exacly the answere i was looking for, thank YOU motoko, I was trying to see if the Black Emporium came with the SE, because i also pre-ordered it. But nothing ever said that the Black emporium came with it.

If you read a few post above, you could find my post that every new copy of Dragon Age 2 includes the Black Emporium :-)

Also, AFAIK, Gamestop offers the pre-order bonuses, so you should receive the Lion of Orlais and Fadeshear.

as far as i remember the bonus's go like this,
signature edition comes with- exiled prince DLC,4 extra weapons,soundtrack.
all new copies include- black emporium,mabari hound, and the mirror.
pre orders from gamestop includes the sword and sheild.

Is the signature edition the special edition?,   cuzz  i asked a guy at gamestop (when i pre ordered on januray 4th) if this was the special edition.He said he didnt know.  i live in Norway btw^_^

I'm actually hoping that I will be able to find a copy of the SE on Amzon on or a few days after release. Private sellers usually do this for CE, SE or whatever on amazon.

Ok, sure the prices might be ridiculous now ($159.99) but I have hope they will subside... <_<

Yeah I could preorder now and get the shield, the sword and the Black Emporium. But I won't be able to get that SE mission. I hope its available on marketplace day one.

My opinion is that you must get The Black Emporium no matter when you ordered. All the games are sent at the release, and i dont think they will ship different versions (one with TBE other without).
