got my pre order at midnight from a gamestop in the usa which advertised the sword and shield but i got not code for it? any info would be awesome

I'm also confused as to what is going on. The in game special deliveries chest has my ser isaac armor and hayder's razor etc etc, but not pre order sword and shield. When I picked up the game from game stop at the release everyone ran out the door, but I stayed behind after noticing that there wasn't a code on my receipt (which threw me off considering that i got codes on both dead space 2 receipts). When I asked the clerk he pointed out the www.gamestop.com/code site, but all the information provided on that site is a flyer that stated I should log into...wait for it... social.bioware.com. I did everything it told me to do but i have no idea where they would be, or even how they would know how i pre ordered the game without a code.

Steps are as follows

"1 Item must be redeemed between march 8th and may 20th."

"2 log into your ea account via dragon age 2 interface"
My dead space ea account is valid and DA2 automatically logged me in.

"3 Go to social.bioware.com and login"

"4check profile to see that you received your item"

"5start game and your item will be ready for use"

wtf dudes, wtf. to say the least i am a little confused. Please help...

I got 3 keys from steam.

cd key: register game
entitlement key: black emporium
preorder key: lions and fadeshear

they worked just fine

So everybody who buys a game get black emporium? Does it have to be preordered? Few magic tricks could always come in handy. Yes yes.. I'm a bit slow. =)

As i previously said TBE should come in every copy of DA2 as a Coupon Code inside the box, and you must register it as a game promotion. In the case of a Digital Purchase you should recieve the code on your e-mail. Just follow what the others said here to activate the promotions once you get them.

So since I pre-ordered from Gamestop.com backw hen it was the whole, "Pre order now and get the special Bioware Signature edition," I'm not going to get this? That's kind of lame if you ask me ....

Nevermind ... I guess I should read more carefully ... Haha

Any word on the Lion of Orlais and Fadeshear? I preordered from Best Buy and didn't get a code to redeem for either of these items. I've registered my game and still a no go. What the hell is going on?!

I called my Best Buy store and the people who work the pre-order just failed to give me my promo code. I just have to go in and they will take care of it.

Apparently Best Buy has no clue what they are talking about. My trip to the store did net me my Best Buy exclusive Amulet of Ashes... but absolutely no information about my Lion of Orlais or Fadeshear. Awesome.

I just got back from EB Games in Canada, they said they don't have codes. People on here seem to be getting their sword/shield by registering the game, correct?

I clicked on DA2 - PS3 on my profile here, put in the UPC code from the outside of the box like it said, and error msg?
Is there a different code to register the game? Anyone could just take a copy off the shelf and write down the upc registration code then?

I was half asleep last night and accidentally bought this and then found out I already was entitled to it.. Ok lesson learned! Never buy stuff when I'm that tired!! I guess all sales are final though? I'm just glad i wasn't on e-bay lmao!!

So can someone please explain how I register this game?  Every time I try on the social site nothing happens and I get logged out.  Also, every time I try to enter my sig edition code here nothing happens and I get logged out.  Any ideas?

All I can say is keep trying. There are sooooo many people on the forum right now that the forum is choking. It took me a few tries. Also DLC content is the same, keeps logging me out. You'll get it eventually.

I'm having the exact same problem. I try to put in the UPC to register my DA2 Signature Edition and it keeps giving me error messages and I didn't receive a code with my copy for the Fadeshear and Shield. Does Anyone one know whats going on with this?

I got my Sword and Shield by a code I got eMailed to my by Gamestop.com since I pre ordered mine online. I'm just waiting for my game to come in the mail so I can see if TBE is in there or if I'm going to be depressed and disappointed.

I preordered and downloaded the game digitally from the EA store, and got an e-mail saying the code for this and my online pass would be arriving in a separate e-mail...but the email with that info never came. Anyone have a clue?

It looks like most of us are in the same boat.

I pre-ordered my copy from EB Games in Canada, I also successfully registered my copy on the site.

Still no Sword or Shield. I'm wondering if its me that's doing something wrong or if EB simply forgot to include the code.
