Those having trouble registering the game, make sure you're using the full UPC code, including the one digit on the far left side of the upc, as well as the one digit to the fir right side. this whole code worked for me

The Lion of Orlais shield and the Fadeshear sword will be oonly available to players who pre-order Dragon Age II before launch. They are included in the Signature Edition.

I have gotten everything but these items and i preordered from Best Buy (got the amulet!).
anyone else having issues getting access codes for these?

You at least got the amulet, Best Buy has not given me any at all. And there's a thread in the Xbox support about this too. Best Buy has been terrible with the codes for this game.

I'm with the others, I preordered from Best Buy and did not get codes for the amulet, the shield, or the sword.

This is an issue you guys seem like you will have to call the places you ordered your games from and ask why you never got the codes from them.

I got the code on my receipt my gf put in the promo on this site and i have a quest to get the sword and shield but it just tells me to go home and check the special delivery chest but there are to markers to direct me to home

go to gammlen's house in lowtown and it is in a chest there i think u might have to wait until after the cut scene to get to the chest

Hmm. It looks as if I'm not alone in continuing to wait for my redemption code(s) from Best Buy. I'll have to give them a call...

OK, I know this is a noobish question, but how do I read a tome in DA II? In origins and awakening, it was easy - they appeared in the inventory, open the inventory, click the use button or move to quickbar and click, no problem.

In DA II however they seem to go to the codex and there is no way to open one apparently. Or does clicking on one to display the contents count as reading? Forgive me if I sound confused, but I am at the age when confused is my normal state of mind!

Firstly, Oldfart, once you buy it, it is used, and as for Fadeshear and Lion of Orlais, in the profile tab, let it slide out, then go to the your registered games promotions and click on the sword, and shield tabs, they will explain where everything is, but this only works for people who got the signature edition and succesfully linked their PSN ID's or whatever Xbox and PC's use.

Thanks.  I figured out the sword, the shield, the boots,etc.  The dwarvem razor is a massive upgrade for Carver if you played so that Carver survived instead of Bethany.  The staff is astoundingly more powerful than your default one.  I just could not figure out how to actually read the tomes to activate them, but from what you are saying they were applied as soon as they showed up in my journal?  If so, thanks, if not, then I misunderstood you, which is par for the course at my age!

and for those who may have missed premium content posts, if you go to your uncle's house after figuring out how to get into kirkwall and open the door to the room to your right, just inside to the left of the doorway is a Special Delivery chest where your goodies will show up if you have redeemed, downloaded, etc.  And except for a couple of items such as the Blood Dragon Armor and one or two more, you can use the stuff at once without carrying it around waiting to level up!

Calling didn't work and the person said I had to go in and handle it in person with Best Buy. I will not be happy having to waste gas because of this.

Bioware/EA could have helped people out with this but refuse to. It would have helped show they understand the issue and want to make it right with those who supported them. But they are taking the stance of "we got our money so screw it".

I'm having none of the problems anyone else is. I simply registered my game and got all the content on my registered game promotions page. Everything else was listed as in game.

to get all the items you must have purchased the signature edition then register for the newsletter and register your game copy. All items except the facebook/preorder will be in your box in your house

It's supposed to be part of it.

Two separate issues here - the shield and sword are not "part of" SE
but (almost?) all SE purchases should also trigger the codes for the
shield and sword.

• SE was for all pre-orders before a certain (early) date.
• Shield and sword were for pre-orders, early or late, from certain (almost all?) retailers.

The SE box doesn't include the codes, and Amazon sent the codes out
by e-mail, as was already stated.
