Preordered from Best Buy and in the same bind as most, got the amulet code in the email but still waiting on the sword and shield =/. The folks at Best Buy were of no help, when I asked them about it all I got was blank stares. I really hope either BioWare or Best Buy can resolve this since there was a deadline for redeeming these codes from what I remember reading....

Be sure to check the instructions on the 'More Info' link besides each item here:

If you are still having questions or issues getting bonus content, a new
summary page of all the items complete with more detailed pdf instructions for how to
get each item per platform has been added to the code redemption page
here:
social.bioware.com/redeem_code.php

You
can also view stats and other details of each item (and also links to the same pdfs on how
to get it) here - be sure to select the platform at the top of the items
window as instructions can vary:

Good news game.co.uk sent me a code for the Fadeshear Sword and Lion of Orlais Shield and I don't need it.

I have these already. So if someone needs them let me know and I'll give you the code. first come and all that.

What if the items dosen't appear even after entering the code? For me none of the SE content or the preorder DLC stuff (except the Lion of Orlais and Fadeshear which I've got another code for) appear on the "registered game content" page... Of course I've alredy entered the code which were supposed to contain those items. I would really like some help with this.

Yes please. Still trying to sort my one out, but would be nice to have a "guarantee" . If mine do eventually come through, I'll do the same and give it away to somebody else having problems

I had the same problem and simply installed it manually (click "Profile" on the left then "Your registered game content", select the Black Emporium and download the installer and restart DAII).

Ok so I went to this link, looked up the instructions for Fadeshear and Lion Shield. It says that digital preorders are the ones that will get an email code and that retail purchases should use the UPC code on the back of the box. I tried unregistering and reregistering my game (pc platform) using the UPC code. It says that the code is not valid though? my guess being that the UPC code is a 12 digit number and the actual cd key found on the back of the manual is a 20 digit key.... so which is it BioWare? and how the heck can I get the preorder items I'm entitled to?

I'm in the same boat. Best Buy physical pre-order, PC platform. Most things unlocked but Black Emporium is NOT in my list. I used the code on the sheet inside the box that says it will unlock Black Emporium and the Warhound. When I try to use it again it says the code is not valid.

Did you also download it from the 'Profile / your extra game content page' 'more info - PC' under the download tab. Click this, download and then install the black emporium. Hope this is of help.

Hmm I have unlocked the black emporium succesfully with no problems at all. But my fadeshear and lion of orlais items has not been unlocked and I don't know why they haven't been unlocked.
Got the pre-order from cdon.com and the format is on xbox 360, any help would be appreciated.

Edit: The two items are not even showing on the list of unlockables, I would really appreciate some help concerning this problem :/

I put in the code for Black Emporium a few more times and it finally worked. I did have to download it as Mackq described. I enjoyed the humor in the Emporium.

Thanks it helped. Told me to check "Extras" on main screen then "Unlockables". If they were there (which they were) then they would appear in a chest in your house in game. Hope this helps any other confused people like me

I preordered from gamestop and i got only the the emporium dlc no shield or sword im very sad.

Yeah I redeemed my code and got nothing, I bought it new of steam and no black emporium.
