So if this content is exclusive to only xbox360 and PC, does that mean that even though I've pre-ordered the SE for the ps3, i will not get this? This is confusing...please someone enlighten me.

I'm incredibly excited with the news of this dlc!! Although I'm curious as to how the Mirror of Transformation will work with the default Hawk face, with all this information about the default not being customizable, I hope it will allow us the ability to change default Hawk (beard, eye color, tattoos, ect.). I won't be to badly heartbroken if it doesn't since I'll have a mabari to distract my attention
Michael Hamilton wrote...
Default Hawke's hair and beard
styles are not available for character customization. The default
appearances were not really intended for piecemeal use in the character
editor (ie: the precise nose and eye and mouth shapes are not available
either), it is as was mentioned, a custom modelled head all baked
together. This gave the character artists a lot more direct control
over how Hawke looked without being restricted to the headmorph system
for our title character's appearance.
Now for the good
news: There are 32 hairstyles for female hawke (including the bald
option), 36 for male hawke (the same number of unique models, but there
are a couple more variations of peach fuzz texturing including male
pattern baldness which makes no sense to have for females) and 17
beards.
There are no -exact- matches to the default Hawke's hair,
however, there are quite a few very similar styles. There is also one
similar beard model (though it is a bit longer than the custom one).
You can make a very similar looking character to the custom Hawke model,
but it is not exact. It would be close enough that you can roleplay
age (assuming a character's exact hairstyle and beard length changes a
little over the years). This is really one of those things you'll have
to see and judge for yourselves because it is a little subjective.
There
is a huge range of possibility, there are millions of face variations
possible in character generation. If you were to see every combination
of hairstyle alone there are 3,311,685 combinations of possible features
for the male. Hope you're looking forward to it!

22 different eye colours, and
yes there are several shoulder length hairstyles for men who like to
whip their hair back and forth.

Sorry if this has been answered before but I have a question because of something that I've noticed just now. Now as far I understand those who pre-ordered the SE (any platform) will get this content as well right? But then why does it say on the official site of the game that this pre-order content is only for xbox360 and PC? Where is ps3?
So if this content is exclusive to only xbox360 and PC, does that mean that even though I've pre-ordered the SE for the ps3, i will not get this? This is confusing...please someone enlighten me.

Sweet, combine this with the Signature Edition content, the Staff of Parthalan, Hindsight, and whatever bonuses we get from Dragon Age: Legends & Dragon Age: Journeys II and I'm gonna be very happy once I have my Dragon Age II copy.
I checked the developers blog and they said they're still going to work on it and release it eventually (they plan to have a trilogy of flash games), but right now their priority is Legends.Balgin Stondraeg wrote...

Glad I'm not the only person who remembers Dragon Age Journeys (although the fact it hasn't been updated for over a year gives me the feeling it's been abandoned in favour of the facebook game).

@ Frostseed, i had the same thought as you, i ordered through amazon uk as soon as it was available, i'm hoping i get all this awesome bonus content! lol
I think we do, proof:The Black Emporium will be included in all copies of Dragon Age II
including the Signature Edition, copies pre-ordered between now and
launch, and copies purchased new in stores after launch.
The Lion
of Orlais shield and the Fadeshear sword will be oonly available to
players who pre-order Dragon Age II before launch. They are included in
the Signature Edition.

ANy word on the mabari being a squadmate?
You summon it during battle, and when the battle is over, it disappears back to where ever it came from. So, no, it's not a full companion.

Got a question here. Pre-ordered SE, but was kinda waiting for it to pop up on Steam, but since it didn't I'm now considering not getting the SE and going with a simple Steam version for convenience. Could someone tell what I miss out on if I get the Steam version pre-ordered instead of the SE. If it's only the soundtrack and the Exiled Prince I'll live, but since it says "In-game arsenal" for the SE are those the Fadeshear, lion of Orlais and Black Emporium things or is there something extra?
Wittand25 wrote...
The only truly exclusive things in the SE are the extra weapons. The Prince DLC and the soundtrack are available to all ( with extra cost) the Fadeshear and Lion of Orleis come with every preorder and the Black emporium with associated content comes with every new copy (preorderd or not). I hope I got that right.

Hey, Bioware, will you guys be offering the Signature Edition again as a pre-order? Or even as a new package for purchase? I was not aware of it when it was first offered. I'd love to purchase that along with the new pre-order items (Black Emporium, etc).

It shouldn't be a problem. I'm 100% sure you have to register your copy (and the codes associated with it) on you account yourself.Edirr wrote...
Okay, one question:
I preordered through one of the brick and mortar stores and the email account I've used to register to their webstore is different than the one I've registered with here. Does that make any difference? Or do the preorder copies come with some kind of redeem code or something?
Because if it does, I can change the email associated with my Bioware account more easily.

Jesus Christ. So glad I preordered.

Thank you very much, Bioware!![]()
It pleases me greatly to finally see a "learning" weapon although I would have hoped that it would be the sword Hawke uses in the trailer.

I think the staff of Parthalan is the weapon from the trailer.Sorry, this quote is from page 1.
