It is a mage only weapon. Some of the staffs in the game are bladed. I also heard there's no arcane warrior in this game but they give you the bladed staffs so mages don't always have to fight from far away. Kinda like being an arcane warrior w/o needing a specialization for it.

im so syched about this, and also how come i didnt get a staff of pantholon code, i signed up for the newsletter to get it but i never recieved my code, if anyone noes a reason please could you tell me< but i suppose i shouldnt turn my nose up at the 12 peices of dlc i am now recieveing with my game including the dead space 2 armour, which is coming out next week and im so hyped for it :DDDD but i would like to no the status of the staff of pathalon if someone could like inform me, i think i read somwhere it was a competition item but i dont no

i dont acctually i think the staff of panthalon is the weapon from the trailer just because its on the front of the case and if its supposed to be a dlc item then surly they wouldnt show it due to the fact it would be seen as false advertisement because not everyone can get it, i acctually think you have that weapon from the begining, i dunno but hyped for it:D:D:D

i might sound like a really stupid noob for asking this, but are all the pre-ordered perks something where you get need a code with the game and you need to redeem it, or is it all just built into the game? sorry if this is totally obvious and im just an idiot.

Codes inside the case. I am not entirely sure about the digital version but I assume those download along side with the core game or they email you a code.

Well it is a summon pet and can only be used in combat so it should look intimidating.

I don't think anyone could really claim false Advertisement if it part of the cover art since it is just that and not a screen shot of the game. Cover art is suppose to catch and attract interest.  Now showing it being used in a screenshot on the back of the game would be a stronger case due to showing that it is something you can use in the game and the fact that such a screen shot is on the back of the game case could be considered to mean that it is in the base game.

Oh I just was wondering if like, the black emporium was for the Sig edition only and then I read it...so I'm like...totally psyched about the fact that everyone gets it...kind of pissed that I won't be able to score the sig edition and fadeshear, and that shield....being a poor dude n all I ain't got $100 n something bucks to put into my bro's credit card...but hey, maybe there'l be a dlc for fadeshear and the shield in the future...(awesome idea, I wouldn't be too worried if there wasn't though, I'm just here for bioware's naturally awesome games...Note: I've been a fan of bioware ever since I played star wars knights of the old republic with over 50 playthroughs in a row!...uhh anyway. Nice Job Bioware, glad you never do what most games that have the whole pre-order option do, you know, you don't get any bonuses unless you pre-order...anyway keep it up, looking forward to this and Mass effect 3....even if Mass effect 3 is a ps3 exclusive and all, I can wait the extra 6 months for the 360 version...no sweat, Awesome games always have a long creation time)

Ok Question, I plan to get it tom for PC (wanted to pre-order last year but was so busy) so what are the things I won't get for this preorder (Before Jan is something and Before March is something and Jan's stuff is no longer within content). Like the fight dog, etc.



I'd regret it if I'd not have some of the content just because I bloody well didn't try last year. Sigh~!

'The Black Emporium' is included in all brand new Dragon Age 2 copies. There's a card with one-use code to unlock that content. So, if you buy new copy of DA2, you get tBE for free; if you buy used copy of DA2, you may likely need to buy tBE because the code will be already used by the previous owner of that used copy of DA2 :-)

I hope all this bonus DLC is included inside the game case as I contacted EB about if all this pre-order DLC will be included in my Dragon Age II Sig Edition since it was announced ages after I pre-ordered, and they said nothing has been confirmed about that. This is in Australia.

 I haven't bookmarked a link to the original post but I must let you down - pre-order bonuses (sword and shield) won't be in the box. :-(
