Since I last posted here 3 days ago I've been trying and still no luck. I talked to someone in EA chat support but they couldn't help either. I just hope whoever updated the Bioware Points page fix it before I go crazy.

No change in problems: Paypal tells me to try again because of an error and Credit Card tells me CSC is invalid

Siibi, where are you from? I think the credit card issue is actually related to countries matching with geolocated IP, EA account registered country and the credit card's country. That's what the FAQ (sticked here) mentions.

As for the PayPal, same problem...

I just noticed that little bit in the FAQ too, about the EA account.

The thing is, I don't HAVE an EA account. Or at least, I didn't sign up for one directly.

I registered on the Bioware social site long before EA took over, and the only other EA game I created an account for is Spore. Neither of these 2 registrations required that I set my country. So I doubt that's the problem.

Edit: I managed to resolve my problem, at least partially. I had to buy the points from the EA store as opposed to the Bioware points site like what was suggested to Dsurian earlier. Luckily I was going for the 1600 points anyway so the EA Store was able to provide that.

As far as I can tell, this is the only way to acquire Bioware Points at the moment.

I can't buy points from the EA store either. My orders get cancelled without any explanation at all. Still no e-mail replies, still same errors. What the hell Bioware/EA? Fix this, right now!

Hi, I'm trying to resolve a similar issue. My problem is that after I made the bioware points purchase on Paypal, when it redirected me to the bioware site it came up with "an error has occured..." screen.

I got a receipt from paypal saying the transaction had been made, and I checked, the money has been taken from my bank account. However, I haven't recieved the bioware points.

I'm from Turkey, and in my personal info it does say Turkey too so no problem there. I never used my credit card to buy points before because I prefer Paypal so I'm not sure if there was always a problem with it but I don't think so. I'll check it again.

Let's hope they fix Paypal soon, I really want to buy the Overlord DLC :)

Yeah, that's the DLC I'm missing. I already got Kasumi's Stolen Memory and Lair of the Shadow Broker. Since I bought the Digital Deluxe, I also already have the Firewalker DLC. Overlord is the only assignment-related DLC I still do not have.

I'm beginning to think, that we should make a topic at least here, gathering the signs from people having this problem. Visiting the semi-official Hungarian ME forums, a lot of people are having this problem here, so it is indeed an issue.

But it's a million-customer buisness, the big fishy doesn't give a damn until they see that it affects multiple people.

It's not that much of a tragedy right now, but when the new story-oriented DLC comes out for ME2, or when the first paid DLC comes out for DA2, it will be a major problem. For us. And as they will loose money, for them too. I hope they see this in their right mind, it's more effective to investigate and solve the problem than let the money slide.

I have a similar problem. I can pay for my points alright, but then the website shows me a server not found message. The transaction shows up on my account as pending. No points. 14 € down the toilet.

I contacted EA support via mail, but I don't have high hopes for a quick and adequate answer. Last time they took more than five days to answer and all I got was something in the vein of "have you tried turning it on and off again?".

Nice to see I'm not alone this. Also tried to purchase b-points via paypal and got a server not found messsage. Unfortunately I don't even have a transaction pending message on my account even though the friggin store took my cash. :(

edit:Just noticed that I've been registered here for well over a year and have now made my first post. Well better late than never I guess... :P

A heads up to people who might be reading this. You should go to http://support.ea.com/chat and ask them to help out. A guy called Shane solved my problem there in a heartbeat.

And now I'm off to get myself some DLC. :)

I had a guy from EA try to help me out. He said he transferred those points to my account manually and I should wait at least 48 hours for them to pop up on my account in the future. Thing is, I'm still at zero points on my account and just for the record, I'm not waiting on some digital product for 48 hours! That's some lousy support on EA's end and it's a bad experience overall. I think I might rather keep my money next time or spend it on something on Steam...

Same thing happend to me. I couldn't buy from BioWare's store, but the EA Store(Europe) worked fine. http://eastore.ea.co...DisplayHomePage

And it's *not* more expensive in Euros. (1600 points = 15 Eur = 20.6 USD)

Huh? For some reason the EA Store loads with the Spain interface, and the 1600 points pack appears as 19.95 Euros... Perhaps spaniards are getting tricked by EA?

It's also more expensive in Brazil.

Thank you so much for sharing this, this solved my problem instantly. Wasn't able to use paypal or credit card before on bioware social site or EA store (actually ea store just redirect loops me, so the site was broken to begin with)

EA, seriously, fire your tech support guys and give this guy the extra money.

I have experienced a similar problem, though also somewhat different. In the past I have purchased points using PayPal with no problem at all. Now all of a sudden I don't even get the option to pay with paypal. Have they removed paypal support?
