No change in problems: Paypal tells me to try again because of an error and Credit Card tells me CSC is invalid

The thing is, I don't HAVE an EA account. Or at least, I didn't sign up for one directly.
I registered on the Bioware social site long before EA took over, and the only other EA game I created an account for is Spore. Neither of these 2 registrations required that I set my country. So I doubt that's the problem.
Edit: I managed to resolve my problem, at least partially. I had to buy the points from the EA store as opposed to the Bioware points site like what was suggested to Dsurian earlier. Luckily I was going for the 1600 points anyway so the EA Store was able to provide that.
As far as I can tell, this is the only way to acquire Bioware Points at the moment.

I got a receipt from paypal saying the transaction had been made, and I checked, the money has been taken from my bank account. However, I haven't recieved the bioware points.

Siibi, where are you from? I think the credit card issue is actually related to countries matching with geolocated IP, EA account registered country and the credit card's country. That's what the FAQ (sticked here) mentions.
As for the PayPal, same problem...
I'm from Turkey, and in my personal info it does say Turkey too so no problem there. I never used my credit card to buy points before because I prefer Paypal so I'm not sure if there was always a problem with it but I don't think so. I'll check it again.
Let's hope they fix Paypal soon, I really want to buy the Overlord DLC

But it's a million-customer buisness, the big fishy doesn't give a damn until they see that it affects multiple people.
It's not that much of a tragedy right now, but when the new story-oriented DLC comes out for ME2, or when the first paid DLC comes out for DA2, it will be a major problem. For us. And as they will loose money, for them too. I hope they see this in their right mind, it's more effective to investigate and solve the problem than let the money slide.

I contacted EA support via mail, but I don't have high hopes for a quick and adequate answer. Last time they took more than five days to answer and all I got was something in the vein of "have you tried turning it on and off again?".

Same thing happend to me. I couldn't buy from BioWare's store, but the EA Store(Europe) worked fine. http://eastore.ea.co...DisplayHomePage
And it's *not* more expensive in Euros. (1600 points = 15 Eur = 20.6 USD)

Huh? For some reason the EA Store loads with the Spain interface, and the 1600 points pack appears as 19.95 Euros... Perhaps spaniards are getting tricked by EA?

Thank you so much for sharing this, this solved my problem instantly. Wasn't able to use paypal or credit card before on bioware social site or EA store (actually ea store just redirect loops me, so the site was broken to begin with)
EA, seriously, fire your tech support guys and give this guy the extra money.
