To preface, this is the third "Dragon Age 2 for Mac" post I have started, each with no response or any useful dev information. But Bioware, please just confirm or deny it! I'd love to get DA 2, but can't because of my Mac. I had *almost* given up hope on any DA 2 Mac news or info, when I see this pic on Facebook:

Does this mean that it is on Mac (Apple sign in lower right hand corner)? Please, Devs, JUST YES OR NO IT

Edit: Adjusted title to reflect content

Edit: Link for preorder on HERE
Also, official confirmation is below.

Edit: Disc for PC is now Mac as well- Here

If we have not announced information, we simply have not announced it. There's no malice in it.

When and if we can confirm or deny a Mac version, we will do so here and on the main DA II site.

In the picture for the Lion of Orlais shield, there is a small Apple symbol. Was this a mistake then?

EDIT: Damn Bioware ninjas:ph34r:

CHRIS PRIESTLY I LOVE YOU AND WILL BUILD A SHRINE TO YOU AND YOUR DESCENDANTS IN MY HOME. Now that that is out of my system, will we be able to preorder it, or will it come out after the March 8th release date?

Niiiice!:o I think I'll get it for Mac instead of Xbox 360. I know i'm gonna have more freedom on Mac. Thank you!

Okay guys, can we shut up with the "Macz sux!" comments? Don't like Macs, don't play on them. You don't have to annoy those who do.

I'm also on board for a Mac version.  I've already preordered the Xbox version, as that's where my importable save game data from the first game exists, but if I decide to do another run through the game(s) in the future, I'll probably nab the Mac versions of both.

So how is this going to work for those of us who run both Windows and OSX? Are you going to offer the Mac version free to owners of the Windows version like on Steam?

I'm happy there's going to be a Mac version. I don't personally use Macs myself, but I have friends who prefer them, and they've unfortunately missed out on a lot of games because of that. I just hope they don't make half the DLC inaccessible to them like on DA:O.

In short, anything that opens up the games to more players is alright with me. :)

Never saw the need to get a Mac, around my area they cost 3X the price of a PC that can do the same thing.

Actually, all DLC for Origins is ported over. It just came really really late

Well since Mac/Apple users always like to annoy non-users with "how great Apple is" all the time, we're just trying to level the playing field a bit.

Also, the iPhone spoof episode of Futurama is one of the greatest episodes of any show ever.

I'm not sure if it's still true, but I recall the devs saying that you'd be able to import any DA:O character into any edition of DA2 (e.g. PC to 360, PS3 to PC, or in this case 360 to Mac). I hope that's still the case.

Really? The website says that Stone Prisoner, Warden's Keep and the Feastday packs aren't availible on Mac. If that's changed, then they should really consider updating that.

Well, it's good that Bioware continues to acknowledge that Mac Owners like Quality Games too.

It is available, though only as a combined download with origins for an extra ten (I think) bucks. I got it, though it sucks for those who didn't.

Great news. I'm a Mac user but I tend to play games (like DA and soon DA2) on Windows via Bootcamp, but I will definitely check out the Mac version when it comes out. :)
