Wow thanks. I hope for a dev confirmation on something like that. The only game I've seen like that is Sims 2 and Sims 3. Hope this is right, though. Customer service, at least in my experience, don't seem very well informed

So people say that games on PC don't sell enough to warrant a port, and now there are games on Mac?!?! o.O
? Plenty of games sell greatly on PC. Macs are a different story. One that has ended happily in the case of Dragon Age, however

I hope they will release words on when it will be released as well (same time or later?). I just sold my old PC and got an iMac. I didn't want to spend $200 on boot camping it to windows so I thought I would miss out on this great game.
Now I will re-purchase dragon age for mac and play through the awakening (that I didn't finish before) as warm up!

Since I played through them all on my iMac, I assume they should in fact consider updating their website.ScorpSt wrote...

I'm happy there's going to be a Mac version. I don't personally use Macs myself, but I have friends who prefer them, and they've unfortunately missed out on a lot of games because of that. I just hope they don't make half the DLC inaccessible to them like on DA:O.
In short, anything that opens up the games to more players is alright with me.
Actually, all DLC for Origins is ported over. It just came really really late
Really? The website says that Stone Prisoner, Warden's Keep and the Feastday packs aren't availible on Mac. If that's changed, then they should really consider updating that.
Also, I am now seeing the Mac icon on the DAII home page, so I assume some sort of announcement is eminent. I wish they'd hurry and let us go ahead and pre-order the Mac version so I can get all the pre-order goodies.

I doubt they'd have it for preorder. What I expect is a month or delay delay for release, with a few of the preorder goodies thrown in there.

that's awesome if true, but I'm having a hard time believing it.

Yes, Dragon Age II is coming for the Mac. Yay for Mac users.
Will it be a cider port or a native game? Because I once bought DA:O for Mac and when I realized that was a cider port and DLCs would be released centuries later, I had to buy it again, at Steam… It was quite disappointing.
And, by the way, why, for the love of the god, Mac version of DA isn’t released at Steam???

Chris Priestly says that the information is already public...what this means, I have no idea. But look at the EA and bioware sites. I believe that says it all!
I think by public he just means that the announcement is out there for anyone to look at. But that's just about all the information we've gotten about it. Hopefully on Steam, though not HUGE issue if it isn't.

To me it means I don't have to buy a $200 Win 7 copy so it frees me up to buy more additions to dragon age.

The shown logo WIN/MAC DVD Software suggests to me that the release will be concurrent and will work on both platforms. I just wish I could get official, from the top confirmation and not have to go muckraking to find answers that hold muster.

I prefer to download my games but would like to have it ready to play the day it comes out.
I played the awakening on the mac and I was surprised how stable it was and reasonable performance. It did crash from time to time, more then the PC version, but better then I feared.
I hope the next version is a 1st party adaptation. If that's the case is will hopefully be as stable as the PC version.
That all said Witcher 2 has me thinking about a win7 premium license anyway...

Most players seem to be getting access to a lot of pre-order and other types of loot. Will we get some of those, since as Mac players we couldn't do anything about it (doubtful due to Steam Sig Edition)?
