Dragon Age II on Mac?

If you click on their dragon age II banner you don't get an option to pre order on mac but it you search the EA store for dragon age the first game that comes up is Dragon Age II for mac but with no explanation if it's a DVD or digital download.
How professional. The whole thing makes it feel like it was developed by 5 teenagers in a garage and not a AAA title published by the biggest publisher in the world.

Looks like the Mac and Windows version are coming on the same disk.

I highly doubt it. Must be a mistake. The only game I've seen like that is Sims 2+3 (Though there are probably way more)

Will wait a day or so to see if other options comes to
By the way how do you know it's a cider port?

On a side note, for the Sebastian DLC, will we have to wait long for that devs?

I have a feeling the DLC will "work" Seems like they have solved it so that all DLC are available. Still it is an unknown...
What do you mean by "work"? As in the download can be used for PC/MAC?

At this time since Bioware is so silent I assume the treat Mac as a 1st platform and that all things available for PC will be available for the Mac (perhaps excluding the editor if/when it arrives)

I have both versions of DA:O, PC and Mac, and PC version is SO MUCH BETTER, so I prefer to buy to PC, if Mac version is Cider.
And, as Rimfrost said, I would prefer Steam… (although there is NOT cloud saves for DA.)
But this is true: beggars can’t be choosers.
And yes. I barely meet the requeriments (graphics card of my MacMini is indeed NVIDIA 9400)
What is strange, because the Steam requeriments are these:
Recommended:
OS: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4 GHz Processor or equivalent; AMD Phenom II X3 Triple core 2.8GHz or Equivalent
Memory: 2Gb (4 GB Vista and Windows 7)
Video: ATI 3850 512MB or Greater; NVIDIA 8800GTS 512MB or Greater; DirectX 11: ATI 5850 or Greater; NVIDIA 460 or Greater

My Mini never will run it well. Only at the minimum.

To me on a new Mac the Mac is so powerful that I don't mind the slowness. I have everything bumped to max and it's still runs fine. Had I a slower mac then I probably would consider the windows version.
For me the cider was surprisingly stable and fast but I hope they have invested in making it a true 1st party platform, seem to make sense. Games sell well on mac now

I really hope it is since I pre-order the PC version because I thought I would have a new PC by then. I've been using my Macbook Pro since my PC died.

I agree. If we, Mac owners, continue buying games for windows, games for Mac will never be taken seriously.
We must support games for Mac! (even if they are Cider…)

And then I noticed the price. Seriously, $71 (£44) for a game I can get from the EA store (Digital Download) for £34?
This price difference really doesn't help combat piracy, or encourage the purchase of Mac games, especially when we'll probably encounter loads of errors (in Origins for example, I constantly get 'Unhandled Page Errors' every time I finish saving).
Sure, I'd pay $71 for a true port, but not for a game you can get for £29 packaged in a runtime.

Basically, the Windows version is packaged into a shell that takes Windows-based calls and relays Mac ones to OS X.
Origins on the Mac is pretty good, I played with Medium settings (2x Anti-Aliasing) and it ran perfectly smoothly (using MacBook Pro 15"), although expect to encounter a few unhandled exceptions later in the game.
