I also have to admit that a couple of these screenshots have lessened my concern over the camera. Its still not ideal but no where near as limited as I was fearing.

And that's the console camera. PC goes back (and up) further.

The first videos did not give a proper representation, if these are anything to go by.... I wonder why they did that? oO My old advertising me is going HUH??

"The game.... it wasn't done."

Hopefully the devs are feeling good over the positive feedback, as well. :D

We're going to have to import some extra tears to keep Gaider sated. I hope you are happy, people! ^_^

What about tears of despair that the game isn't finished and in my PC at this very moment? Those good enough?

That'll do, Yuki. That'll do.

Will you actually be sleeping during the next 30 days, or will you just mainline coffee?

I'm already on multiple double espressos per day. Any more and y'all might be down a lead designer.

Will tears of joy do, or does Gaider only feed upon tears of misery? Because I am pretty emotional over those great screenshots and the news we'll be able to summon a Mabari. (PUPPYPUPPYPUPPY!!!)

I can wait. The game will have to come out eventually.

So is origins decisions only going to
matter in the opening sequence of the game? An import won't affect the
rest of the game at all?

I'm not sure why you would think this. Imported decisions from Origins and Awakening are reflected in various ways throughout the game, some very small and some much more significant.

Why is the hud so crammed toward the center of the screen? Ugh...

TV's are variable in terms of overscan and thus need a safe zone around the edges. Such is the hardware.

On the upside, the hud fades down while exploring on console, and is closer to the edges on PC, so it's not as in the way.

Ooo, can we get fade away in the PC version? I always liked having the interface fade away in games.

There's a key to hide it. I think it's "V." Same as Origins, if I recall correctly.

That sounds like a good assessment. Overall, the new system looks awesome, I think.

I just have one gripe about it; there seems to be very few points in total to spend, which concerns me because it might mean we'll wind wind up having every talent/spell by the endgame, which would make the choice of which talents/spells to pick redundant in the long run. Of course, the level cap might be lower to counter this, or you may not receive talent/spell points every time you level up, who knows?

judging by this pic, i think that are more upgrades in the skill trees that we just can't see right now in the "mage trees" picture

That's my conviction as well.

And regarding the level cap: It's 50.

Ability upgrades are in fact hidden on the all-trees view, to unclutter the display. Don't worry, there's lots of things to spend your points on. While this is still subject to balance and tuning until final release, I believe that you're nowhere near having every ability in a full playthrough.
