You don't play as the Warden. You play as a Orlesian Warden if your Warden died.mr_luga wrote...
I'm worried that, since I havent played awakenings, I'll miss out on great things :-( I didnt get awakenings since the ending I did was sacrificial death, and playing awakening with your warden would be pretty silly since he'd be magically ressurected or whatever.

Question will there still be different choices of what area go to first? In origins you could go any where after lothering and go for any part member.

"From what I saw, Dragon Age II is linear, yet open. Points A and B are predetermined, but how you get there is entirely up to you. During my time with the game I recruited people in the order I wanted to and completed missions the way I wished as well."

Or do you recruit every one first?
Is it only one time jump at end of game to see changes you made or what?

It doesn't mean we may recruit 2 in one time and another 2 in another. As such choosing when. Or who knows, perhaps who we pick is indepedent of the time (perhaps having long term impacts).bcooper56 wrote...

ROTFLMAOOOOOOO.... I noticed this too...but I just let it pass, as it was one of those subtle things, I thought they added to confirm this is NOT 'Dragon Effect'...god knows where people came up with that...

Strangely enough, I'm finding many of the new previews to have clothing and armor that looks more realistic than Dragon Age: Origins, not less.

Especially if that is mage-centric clothing. That is extremely practical compared to robes in DA:O.Maria Caliban wrote...

I may or may not be slightly sad if I can't dress my mage in cleavage revealing outfits like Chasind Robes or the Robe of the Witch. I like Marian's outfit in these screens, but sometimes I want to show off my character's magical bosom.

Thank god for that, because we all know how hideous the robes were in origins outside of the Tevinter designed robes...which are the only robe types I hope return in DA 2.

Why is the hud so crammed toward the center of the screen? Ugh...
TV's are variable in terms of overscan and thus need a safe zone around the edges. Such is the hardware.
On the upside, the hud fades down while exploring on console, and is closer to the edges on PC, so it's not as in the way.

How about tears of pure terror? Because I think I am going to go hide under the bed now.

There's a key to hide it. I think it's "V." Same as Origins, if I recall correctly.
