I'm worried that, since I havent played awakenings, I'll miss out on great things :-( I didnt get awakenings since the ending I did was sacrificial death, and playing awakening with your warden would be pretty silly since he'd be magically ressurected or whatever.

You don't play as the Warden. You play as a Orlesian Warden if your Warden died.

Question will there still be different choices of what area go to first? In origins you could go any where after lothering and go for any part member.

So im wondering will it always be same order for getting party memebers or will some not be avalible untill time period jump.

Right in the artcle:

"From what I saw, Dragon Age II is linear, yet open. Points A and B are predetermined, but how you get there is entirely up to you. During my time with the game I recruited people in the order I wanted to and completed missions the way I wished as well."

Wait but i thought you jumped in time 10 years and some points.

Or do you recruit  every one  first?

Is it only one time jump at end of game to see changes you made or what?

There, found Gaider's post about companions leaving the party.

Thanks for that.  I hope nothing changed since then.

It's from four days ago ;)

It doesn't mean we may recruit 2 in one time and another 2 in another. As such choosing when. Or who knows, perhaps who we pick is indepedent of the time (perhaps having long term impacts).

Me too! We've been working out.

I just felt a shiver of anticipation run up my spine.

I'll tell you how much I love this now. Because, you know, immediately after I finish the game, I'll probably be furious with you.

Sounds interesting.

ROTFLMAOOOOOOO.... I noticed this too...but I just let it pass, as it was one of those subtle things, I thought they added to confirm this is NOT 'Dragon Effect'...god knows where people came up with that...^_^

Which I felt was fitting, given the Military thing.
That said I am glad about the change

I like her boots.

Strangely enough, I'm finding many of the new previews to have clothing and armor that looks more realistic than Dragon Age: Origins, not less.

...Maria, you took the words out of my mouth.  I both adore and despise how very much Bioware's writing breaks my heart.

Especially if that is mage-centric clothing. That is extremely practical compared to robes in DA:O.

I may or may not be slightly sad if I can't dress my mage in cleavage revealing outfits like Chasind Robes or the Robe of the Witch.  I like Marian's outfit in these screens, but sometimes I want to show off my character's magical bosom.

Thank god for that, because we all know how hideous the robes were in origins outside of the Tevinter designed robes...which are the only robe types I hope return in DA 2.

Why is the hud so crammed toward the center of the screen? Ugh...

TV's are variable in terms of overscan and thus need a safe zone around the edges. Such is the hardware.

On the upside, the hud fades down while exploring on console, and is closer to the edges on PC, so it's not as in the way.

Ooo, can we get fade away in the PC version? I always liked having the interface fade away in games.

I can wait. The game will have to come out eventually.

:crying:

How about tears of pure terror? Because I think I am going to go hide under the bed now.

There's a key to hide it. I think it's "V." Same as Origins, if I recall correctly.
