They were painted on by someone's graphics card
If you're talking about mine--not a chance.
If you're talking about theirs--isn't their job gaming?
I meant theirs - i.e., the eyebrows were rendered like that by whatever card they were playing on. Isn't that the case, or am I missing something?

I really hope. even though you can't change her face, you have the option to manipulate her hair and coloration (skin, eyes, hair). It's not the most pressing issue, but I love her face, but prefer longer hair.
If you can't edit default Garrett, I doubt Marian will be any different.
Stuck with completely custom or default I think. Though with the mirror in the Black Emporium.... Maybe

Trying trying trying to stay as spoiler free as possible. Didn't read any of the txts but couldn't help myself from looking at the pics. Really liked what I saw on the world map.

That is an awesome screenshot of FemHawke. Also, they're acknowledging the use of Blood Magic in a dialogue. *YAY*

Pretty interesting article. I'm kinda disappointed the first year, of actually trying to get into Kirkwall, is skimmed over. But I'm sure it might have just been a bunch of "Go to X, Kill Y" quests for mercenaries or something.
I hope the other options we pick aside from the Archdemon and Ruler of Ferelden have more of an impact than what the writer said, since almost the entire game is after Origins.

Have I ever mentioned that I love Bioware? Because I do.
And LOOK AT DEM SPELLS. The only thing that slightly worries me is that talent/spell icons look very similar to each other. I hope I'll get a feel for them quickly.

Besides the indicator icons in the center wheel that tell you if you're
flirting, being a jerk or inquiring further, there's a dedicated sarcasm
option that I fell in love with.
I r wishing to marry this game and have multiple babies with it.

Regarding the choices that matter from Origins (who you put on the throne and who killed the archdemon), it's at times like this that I wish we were able to import a game from Origins to Awakening and choose to play the Orlesian Warden. It sucks that there's no way to bring forward the ramifications of the Ultimate Sacrifice ending and play Awakening. (I'm interested to see what the ramifications from Awakening's story might be too - but maybe there aren't any.)

Actually, that's pretty much why I'm delighted they're doing that. Hopefully we can start to run with the top dogs soon enough, rather than losing two hours pursuing fetch quests and dealing with petty thugs.

Nit-picks: If she previewed the 360 version, why is it in the PS3 section on the site?
I imagine because it's a multiplatform game, and the PS3 version is going to be identical to the 360 version, so it doesn't really matter. Some articles are posted to the 360, PS3, and PC versions of the IGN site.
Anyway, I thought the article was pretty informative. I've only been half-paying attention to the details about gameplay at this point, so I found it to be a good read. Can't wait until this comes out.

Oh I see, connected with Earth. That seems... a little arbitrary. Having them split off in twos like that. One could come up with rationales for any two of the four elements to be linked.

Anders at least. That has to be him in the screenshot. It's too much of a coincidence that the guy looks just like him. (And personally I think it would be weird for there to be a brand new character who looks exactly like an old character).
