I really can't wait to witness more Cassandra-Varric conversations...well, all conversations in DA2 as the matter of fact. This type of intelligent sense of humour as often showed in Origins is very rare in computer games, in my opinion at least.



As I think of it...maybe I'll name my character Dr Hawke and also abuse the sarcasm button, heaveily

But anyway, excellent read. And it covered so many different topics, like the abilities/story/imports. And it's a lady Hawke! Love her, her face is incredible, and a mage suit with trousers is what I wanted throughout Origins. Yay!

OMG! After reading that I can't wait for march! I still have to play all the dlcs from Origin so I will have what to do until there.

The game is so modern, and I hope to find a lot of known faces ^^ (Flameth yeah).

You know, I thought FFXIII was pretty okay. It certainly didn't live up to the FF name, but it wasn't too bad, all things considered. I daresay Lost Odyssey was the last great JRPG I played. Though I think its the Western RPG that's in the middle of a golden age right now.

I would argue for Tales of Vesperia and Magna Carta 2, but those are mostly from gameplay and decent to very good characters...but Lost Odyssey does have the best storyline of the JRPGs this generation in my opinion...the best music would go to The Last Remnant and that's for video games as a whole this generation in my opinion.

The pictures published by IGN is from the XBox version so you can expect the PS3 version to look pretty much like that, only difference being that the PS3 colors are not quite as vibrant as on XBox.

Yeah, thanks official Bioware Dev, but I'd like to see real pictures of the product I am *potentially* paying for.

That's one factor I'm considering while trying to decide whether to purchase DA2 for PC or Xbox.  The hubby is not a PC gamer, so if I get the PC version we're not in each other's way, but the Xbox is hooked up to the big-screen, versus the PC's 17" monitor.  Can't... decide... {brain cramp}

I have a Macbook Pro, in theory I could run games on it, but it's too much of a pain.  I just kick him off the PC.  lol

On topic, the new shots of femHawke have finally gotten me looking forward to the game.  She looks great and I like the mage clothing and the fact that she doesn't have Isabela knockers and actually looks athletic and stuff.  Curious to hear her VO.

From some of the screenshots I've seen, it definitely has a Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 feel to it. With the map and the overhead screens at least. With the newer systems and expanded graphics it isn't, but it reminds me of the times I spent on my PS2 beating up goblins and saving the world.
