A little skimpy on details but I did enjoy the new screenshots.

Anyone else get the feeling that Lady Hawke is conversing with Merrill in that screen about blood magic?

Is it just me or do those skill trees look much smaller than the one from the Isabela screenshot way back (and from the size we were promised)? Though on the Isabela screenshot the camera is zoomed in on just on while now it is zoomed out to show all trees so maybe they get more detailed when you choose one (I'm noticing how I can't see any upgrades on any of those trees)?

One thing: in that screenshot with the convo mentioning blood magic, do you think Hawke could be talking to Merrill? It'd be an awesome twist to have a blood mage on your party who isn't a cackling, moustache-twirling villain.

Or maybe we're going to run into Jowan again. Twerp. I can totally see the devs making him return just to troll us.

Also, I could be having another one of my hallucinations (sure, tell everyone about our hallucinations.), but LadyHawke's bust looks smaller than Isabela's. http://uk.ps3.ign.co...?page=mediaFull

I'm loving the style of the Kirkwall map.



Marian looks good...I really want to hear some voicework from her, though. I almost always play my gender in my first playthrough, but FemHawke is tempting me away from this trend (or maybe MaleHawke's voice is pushing me away).



Talent tree / spec trees look interesting. I like that's it's changed from the simple 1-2-3-4 ability unlocks from Origins.

Merrill or "Anders", probably. It's a forest, so Merrill, possibly. Though it seems odd she, a Dalish elf, would be worried and defensive over blood magic.

it's greyed out however, i think that means that's un-selectable equipment will look like in the inventory.

Yup I think that's her! She is facing away from the others and fighting someone, so definitely an ally. Also forest area means we are somwhere near Dalish elves.

Presumably, this being five hours into the game, you ony just got her--why would she be that concerned over blood magic? Would she even call it blood magic?

I'm just speculating. It could easily be her. Or maybe it's not a companion at all.
