For some reason she reminds me of... Data... from Star Trek.

When I first saw the image I thought it was Morrigan. But if you're seeing Data, it's probably the eye color combined with the skin tone.

Are the screens doctored? This stuff looks significantly better than the recent footage in the new dev diary and it's on the 360 to boot.

Oh I see, connected with Earth. That seems... a little arbitrary. Having them split off in twos like that. One could come up with rationales for any two of the four elements to be linked.

I think Earth is the one under it.  The fist icon might be a disintegration type of effect or spell, perhaps.

I like the fact that it seems few Origins decisions impact anything . . . I would have found it odd for a lot of the silly decisions made to have an effect on another country.

Yup I think that's her! She is facing away from the others and fighting someone, so definitely an ally. Also forest area means we are somwhere near Dalish elves.

Yeah it's totally her. If anyone can't see her, she's below the odd wooden cross thingy, whic his in turn above the boulder, which is in turn above Varric. I suck at giving directions.
This makes me a bit more certain that she's the blood mage referenced in the convo. If she is, I wonder if that's what her rivalry/friendship path will revolve around. Blood magic. Would be cool to have a Dalish whose main concern isn't staying the hell away from humans.

Presumably, this being five hours into the game, you ony just got her--why would she be that concerned over blood magic? Would she even call it blood magic?

I'm impressed at how much more detailed it is than the maps in Origins. I wonder if that huge statue is actually part of Kirkwall, or just an illustration for the map?

Your directions are alright, I was struggling to see her and was convinced she wasn't there before I read them .

Incidently I noticed she doesn't have an icon on the mini-map, not sure if that has any significance at all but there you go.

I'm guessing the three bottom trees are the mage specs. Force mage being the lower left, spirit healer in the middle, and blood mage on the right.

The best types of Dalish are defined by how they see one particular other species?  Well, you did say it's just your opinion, so fair enough - but I'd like to see other aspects of their culture come into prominence.

they are the spec tree. If I recall the devs said that there will be 6 general tree for mages, puls spec tree.
