It seems that Force Mage will have some sort of slowing spell; one of the icons is a snail.

Lady Hawke is gorgeous! But... I don't HAVE to have that retarded bloodsmere on my face if I don't want it right? Right? Maybe tossing it on in battle as warpaint would be cool but it's kinda silly to just walking around with it on 24-7 like it ain't no thang, just a little blood, no worries, lol.

Looks like it is force push and force pull at the bottom too. But this might be due to me associating it with the force.

if that spell tree in the bottom left is Force Mage..............the icon that represents it looks to be a hand with either a blade or an arrow on top of it...............

also, it looks like one of the spells is a "blade" slamming into the ground..........

hmmm........

Do not fret, we've been told there will be a preset for the default face that lacks the smear. ^_^

This is the only part I don't like.

In terms of your new crew, gone are the days where people will leave if they don't like your actions. Now you can be as awful or as kind as you'd like without worrying about being abandoned by certain party members.

The ability to lose a party member at any moment really kept me on my toes and help immerse me in the characters. I like the new rivalry sytem but party members abandoning you should not have been ditched.

FemHawke looks more 'real'... Hawke looks like a cartoon.

She is very pretty and I love her eyes.

That article lacked substance but for some reason it restored all my faith... March 8th can't come soon enough.

Hawkette looks a bit pale / greenish. It must be something she ate. Poor lass :crying:

Bullet points!

* Clouds! Not just the indistinct blah whiteness from before! I am very pleased about this. Likewise, the background textures have been dialed up considerably. The trees, while stylized, now look like trees, not lego pieces.

* The minimap! It just kind of blends into the screen in a very aesthetic fashion! NEAT!

* WHY HELLO FEMME HAWKE I AM DELIGHTED TO SEE YOU!

I...I'm confused! There's actual information being released on a regular basis, and the forum is being almost entirely positive! Did I switch dimensions or something?

Loving the new screenshots, by the way. Lady Hawke looks neato. Surprised at how good the default characters look, it might be a while before I touch the character creator.

No no no, Gaider flat out told us that there will still be mutinies like in DAO. Let me see if I can dig up a post.

The only thing that concerns me a bit is Carver's outfit. While Aveline has her Kirkwall guard's armour, Carver has still this outfit. Hopefully after some time he's going to change it, but it still something that I don't like much.

Howewer, great news. The graphic looks really good, and FemHawke looks more "real" than MaleHawke. :)

I'm a noob...what is the purpose of the smear?

Anyway, Lady Hawke looks awesome and I will forgo character creation and use the default look for the first game.

Its cosmetic you don't have to use it when making your character, its optional.

Yay! Just think it'd be too lol to like have a big romantic moment and kiss my LI with a giant bloodsmere on my face. Or even just silly for the quieter moments when you're just chillin' in a tavern or something, lol.

I like how the skill tree looks, it appears quite functional, my only problem is that it looks too "modern" for a fantasy game

Does anyone know which save from origins Dage2 will take? Like Kristine mentioned. Cause I have four completions.

Oh god. The things you people complain about are ridiculous. I feel sorry for Bioware having to put up with all your bull**** everyday.

"The second installment begins around the same time as Origins did. Following the Battle of Ostagar, which claimed the lives of the majority of the Grey Wardens (people with the power to destroy Archdemons) and the king of Ferelden, the countryside is no longer safe. If you played Origins you might recall that as soon as you leave Lothering, Hawke's hometown, it is overcome by the Blight (a mass of evil Darkspawn). With the town destroyed and the country in despair, Hawke's family flees north to Kirkwall. However, in order to gain entry into the city there's a yearlong activity that must be completed first. During this year, which is only a cut-scene in Dragon Age II, all the events of Origins come to fruition and the threat of the Blight is over. From that point on, Dragon Age II's story is separate from Origins."

This sounds great, means that DA:O characters are freed up to be involved too if they want... awesome preview! :D
