You know, the scar for male Shepards.  If you wanted to make Shepard look like a scary bald guy with a scar across the side of his face, you could do that.  But in ME2 there are just those weird molten scars that are practically unnoticeable soon enough if you were Paragon in the first game.
My Shepard isn't complete without his horrible eye-scar.  Not sure why the removed it in the first place, but the Milky Way will be a better place if it's maintained by hundreds of thousands of scarred Shepards.

I have an idea.... let's not. My shepard had a few scars in ME1 and he in fact looks better now without them. The Lazarus project was also made to make Shepard better. How do scars make him better even if you *DO* want them?

I guess they could bring them back (OPTIONALLY) for players who want them again in ME3.

Bioware wanted to show grayness of morality choices. They wanted every decision be hard and not just good/evil.

So that´s why renegade Shepard looks like damaged Terminator.

Makes perfect sense.

What's wrong with having a regular scar in addition to the molten scars?  They would clearly be distinguishable, and having a scar doesn't make you a bad person.  That's not perfect sense.  That's just removing an amusing customization option because you feel like it.

The project was to bring Shepard back, and that's all.  Not to improve him in any way.

In-game plot explains this: they brought back Shepard exactly as he was (biologically speaking). There's no genetic way to accurately recreate scars.

My canon Shephard had a scar over his right eye in ME 1. I just rped mine as if Cerberus removed all of his prior scars, scraps, and burns before the Lazuras project. It worked really well rp wise after Liara kissed him on Illium.

I want my ME1 scar back. My femshep got a scar under her right eye when the Baterians attack her colonie back when she was young. The scar always remembers her why she fights.

I too miss the scars! My Shep just looks like average Joe the plumber without it!
