I realized I put this in the wrong forum, so...

Basically sums it up.

Who would be the best squad for an infiltrator with AI hacking as his bonus? (I've heard that Liara is really good to have)

For an Infiltrator I'd say any combination of Liara, Wrex, or Kaidan. I tend to prefer Liara/Kaidan, especially since his Neural Shock makes boss fights less tedious.

I'd agree with PLH above. Any combo of the three biotics would work well. It really depends on what you're looking for though. I know that there were times I made good use of Garrus/Wrex with a Inf/Commando/AI Hack due to the larger damage output (Garrus w/ Assault training + Turian Agent does a lot more damage than anything Kaidan can do).

haha! I usually give my infiltrator in ME1 a biotic power because my Engineer ends up getting sniper rifle training... so, with that said, I'd strongly recommend: Liara, Garrus, and Wrex. Any combination of those guys, and you're virtually unstoppable, from my expirience. I always went for the Operative class ugrade as an Infiltrator and an Engineer.

On a different take, I ran Wrex and Ashley though with my Infil, and loved the combo. The point of this team was Immunity and then stand there spraying until everything stops moving. Wrex had some biotics including warp, but since everyone had immunity they basically couldn't die, so no real issues with any fight. Some fights did take a bit longer than others, BUT the team was unstoppable.

^That works on insanity?

Never played ME1 insanity myself - always heard you had to spam cc powers at that level.

Its a lot slower without CC due to the opponent's Immunity.  If you can't prevent them from using it, everyone is going to be there for a while and there's a chance that they can out whittle you.

^ The biggest issue is enemies using Immunity as well, greatly prolonging fights. When you cc them with powers and they are floating around they don't re-up their immunity and thus die faster. With Ashley Wrex, and myself all with weapons blazing who cares if they have immunity, with the correct weapons you will still just walk up to them and blast them until they die.

Wrex + Liara if you like using biotics

or

Wrex + Garrus if you want your team to be a wrecking crew

I probably should have mentioned I can't use Ashley, because she's gonna die.

That's how I played ME1, but I never bothered to go beyond normal difficulty then. That's why the cc concept was so strange to me when I started ME2.

The CC concept was new to me also when I started in ME2, I really didn't use CC in ME until I figured out how they work.

On Insanity, the craziest part is listening to "Enemies everywhere," "Go, go, go!" and so on more than I had to. :D

Any team you find most effective.  Really.  Once your Infiltrator has Master Sabotage and Master Overload, you're free to make your team any you like.  Like tons of crowd control?  Liara + Kaidan.  Like brute force?  Wrex + Ashley.  Want a little of both?  Wrex + Liara.  Want the squishiest teammates so you'll be solo-ing most of the time?  Tali + Garrus

This team doesnt work when starting from level one insanity.
Ashley completly sucks then.(kaidan with his barrier survived tough situations far better then an early game ashley who only had shield boost and a little health regeneration)
Only on new game plus.

Even a regular krogan(not even talk about warlords) could "own" wrex and ashley in close distance with their devastating melee attacks. Ashley is toast for sure.

Wrex is actually useful for dealing with immunity using enemies on insanity. He can start leveling up warp as soon as you acquire him.  He also can unlock immunity fairly early in his build.

On Insanity(or even on Veteran), my Infiltrator uses Liara and Garrus. Garrus is one of the most consistent damage-dealers in the game, and Liara excels at crowd control, locking down entire rooms before they even have a chance to pop Immunity at all.

Probably Liara and Wrex. Honestly, it doesn't really matter too much. Kaidan gives you some additional tech mines for Geth-heavy missions, but I would ALWAYS run Wrex for any class, simply because he is impossible to kill and has great crowd control between Shotgun and Throw. He can also bring Warp, which is invaluable on Insanity.

The second squad mate can be Liara, Kaidan, or maybe even Garrus. Liara brings Singularity, which is awesome, and Kaidan is a bit more well-rounded, but neither is very durable or good at dealing damage. Garrus brings good damage to the table, but he's very flimsy and has a lot of duplicate abilities to your Infiltrator.
