I was wondering if it's possible to modify any of the DLC items, such as the Dragon Blood Armor pieces, with the toolset. They don't seem to show up in the core game resources module and I don't know where else they might be because there is no "DLC resources" or anything in the mod manager.

Anyone been poking around in this area?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can't modify the actual blood dragon armor, but you can use the model and texture resources. The game file data is encrypted, but the meshes/textures are not. Check your Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age folder - the DLC stuff should be around there somewhere.

you can modify dlc that you have acquired via the same game. all the items are stored in your inventory or that are equipped have their stats and effects in the save file and you can add or edit them. you can even break the 5 effects per item limit the editor imposes on items and stack them up.

yea i was thinking about using my save game file to edit it. But it's going to take a bit of trial and error to figure out what alot of the numbers mean!

thanks for the help!

yea what i do is find an item with the stat/effect i want. equip them or limit my backpack to the items i am interested in find them copy the main code number, add the entries to the item i got equipped then the rest is pretty easy. backup in case your not sure about what your doing of course. or lest remember what you did to what so you can undo it if need be.

90002 is the fatigue. it is -1% per Power Value.

How do you go about adding Item property 90002 to an item you've created in a module?

The Items should be located in documents>bioware>dragon age>addins>....

BUT the ERF files are locked i think, as they cannot be opened ;(.

I tried :(.

You don't need to worry about a locked ERF file as far as getting ahold of the -fatigue. Check out http://social.biowar.../8/index/157069 .

Also, http://social.biowar...discussion/207/ may be of use if you are curious about the various codes.
