You kill the rachni queen and the rachni aren't going to help you fight the reapers, you have an all human council and get no help from the council races, you kill wrex and the krogans will probably not help you, and by using the collector base, you have chosen to have your society go along the paths that the reapers desire like with the mass relays. It all plays into the reapers hands.

Hmmmmmmmm, thats not what I would call a Renegade. Can still havea max Renegade bar and have Wrex alive (i dont think you get points for that decision?) you can spare the Rachni Queen using middle ground conversations. Keeping the base seems to fit in with the novels anyway, and us renegades get the added bonus of have Illusive Man stand there all badass saying 'Cerberus will be Ready Shepard' wich sounds like we havea solid freind their.



Paragons on the other hand, have destroyed a potential weapon, kept a war causing black box in operation, lost a potential geth controlling device, made the geth in general more powerfull because their equivilent of a hand held DS told them to rewrite it and... blah

I wonder how ME3 will handle the pure Renegade paths without having Shepard massive fail.





Even though I usually go the "Paragade" option I do think it would be alittle unfair to have only Paragon paths get the good ending.

Can't face facts? All of these negative choices are gonna affect commander shepard in the end. With no allies but humanity, things are gonna fall apart.

You don't need to have all 'renegade' choices to be a renegade. I for one saved the council with my canon Shep but still had a maxed bar at the end of ME1, though I did kill the rachni queen and saved Wrex. My events in ME2 might result in me having less allies, but if anything it should make the game harder, not impossible.

the rachni can be indoctrinated again, the council races will listen to the humans because they are afraid of the what would happen if they don't, killing Wrex makes Wreav like you enough, and reaper technology is why we were able to blow up the collector ship with ease so the collector base will let us kill the reapers easier too

Wrex: Wrex dieing is not the only renegade choice as you can simply intimidate him. One could use the exact same logic to say Wrex dieing is the paragon option.
Council: With the all Human council a cold war develops between the turians and humans resulting in an arms race, meaning more ships if the old council died.
Genophage data: With Wrex in power and the genophage destroyed the krogan are stable and unified (ish)
Collector Base: Kept, I'm pretty sure I don't have to bring up the postives this could bring.

What other major choices is there?

You kill the Rachni queen so the Rachni aren't going to bite you in the arse by eating up yor allies, you have a Human-led Council, which the Turians are very dissappointed with and build more new dreadnoughts that'll come in handy when the Reapers attack the Galaxy, you never recruited Wrex, and that's why the Krogans aren't going to screw around more than they usually do, and by keeping the Collector Base you chose to beat the Reapers with their own club instead of betting everything on BioWare's letting you luck out. The Reapers don't stand a chance.

I believe that the title of the thread is quiet accurate.

Both Shepards got screwed in ME1 & 2. I highly doubt that will change now.

Since you're so opposed to using Reaper tech riddle me this. How did taking on the Collectors work out not using the Thanix Cannon, EDI or the IFF?

I didn't know there was a war going on between paragons and renegades like it's some kind of title to be proud of. I just thought I'd share my opinion on what is gonna happen in the third game based on choices from the first and second. I haven't really got any input on it because it's easier to just yell "troll thread". Do people get genuinely mad about this?
