So I just got Shale and was about to put her in to replace Morrigan in place of my healer using the Stone Aura set, at least until I get a proper healer, but Shale didnt have anything for Stone Aura in place and soon after lost all of her Tactic sets right behind that.

What should I do to make use of Shale as a psuedo-healer?

So I am guessing here you tried to look for "healer" preset tactics and you did not find it. After that Shale's default tactics got reset. However how to make Shale a scripted healer is interesting. I would start it by doing these four scripts:

Self Health <75% -> activate mode: Stone Aura.

Ally Health <75% -> activate mode: Stone Aura

Enemy Attacking Morrigan -> Use Ability: Killing Blow

Enemy Attacking Alistair -> Use Ability: Slam

Tested those quicly on Landsmeet brawl on "Nightmare" me being stealthed and just observing. Morrigan had to use one lyrium pot (played safe). Other than that they facerolled everything.

the problem with Shale being a healer is that there's no way to set the tactic to disable Stone Aura in Exploration Mode. So after each combat you must deactivate it yourself. I must admit i find it much easier to just use Shale as a tank and switch to powerful blow mode when she's surround and Quake those little genlock to death.

Does it not disable stone aura if you put "ally health >75% -> activate mode: Stoneheart"?

Anyway I have used Shale mainly as tank/DPS.

Nope, apparently stone aura disable all Shale's action so the Tactic won't issue any command unless you disable it manually.

Oh well, did some more experiments and this should work pretty well for Healer Shale. Note I have Heal spell scripted on Morrigan. Morri, Ali, and Shale soloed pretty much everything in "nightmare" on Jarta's Hideout.

Ally Health < 25%                -> Activate: Stone Aura
Enemy Attacking Morrigan -> Activate Pulverizing Blows
Enemy Attacking Morrigan -> Killing Blow
Enemy Attacking Morrigan -> Attack
Enemy Target of Alistair     -> Activate Pulverizing Blows
Enemy Target of Alistair     -> Slam
Alistair Health >= 90%        ->Deactivate Stone Aura

However Shale is indeed bugged and Stone Aura can only be deactivated manually. Also Quake is best done manually.

Should maybe do Exlusively Scripted run on nightmare.

Edit: Note also this was just experimental thing. With some scripted healing pots instead of Shale Healing Bot battles end faster faster.

yah that's exactly what I meant. I always set up tactic for the tanking mode only, and manually use quake when apprioriate, sorry if I was being vague.

EDIT: That seems like a very good setup if you have a second tank in the part. TBH, I only use Shale for the Circle Tower and the Deep Road, and in both cases one of my slot gets taken up automatically. (oghren and Wynn) So I kind of just ditch alistair when I put Shale in the party.

They soloed stuff without problems. It was just a little bit slow going when compared me helping them with rogue. Morrigan healsanyone if HP < 50%, other than that it spams winter grasp & stone fist combo and sleep & nightmare combo. Also if Morri's health goes below < 90 % it makes Vulnerability Hex & Drain LIfe combo.

Edit: Of course make spell resistant Alistair to slaughter mages on sight. And Shale can be replaced with any other DPS.
