Predator is my favorite. Accurate and fast firing. The carnifex is cool as well, though I hate its rate of fire each hit does a lot(point blank it one shots armor a lot), the phalanx though I can't aim with. The laser sight throws me off more than it helps me.

I prefer the predator for every class except soldier. For soldier I stick with carnifex as AR makes it so I never miss. But overall it's better cause of its ammo reserve

Thing I liked best about the Predator was how fast I could fire. Only problem is it can't really OHKO or 2HKO any enemies unless unprotected headshots. I end up unloading an entire clip to kill one or two enemies.

I love the Predator. I tend to play caster classes so it makes a good, reliable weapon. Good ammo, good accuracy, good rate of fire.
My biggest issue with the Carnifex was that it's damage was awkward, for lack of a better word. It couldn't quite strip a Vorcha's armor in one hit. There was only a little left over, less than 20%. It felt like such a waste to shoot another round just to strip that last bit considering how limited its ammo was.

Yeah, i can understand why you prefer predator pistol in terms of clip size but it takes forever to kill enemies on hardcore/Insanity in which case they have already flanked you, sure infiltrators have sniper rifles but they aren't suitable to use in every situation.
there is vid on youtube showing the overall time it takes each weapons to stop a mech , this vid is not per shoot but how many sec. it takes and the predator was right in there with the carnifex, i don't have the link but i'm sure you could do a search and find it
