Stop trying to justify the nonsense that is ME2 outfits.
Stop ignoring evidence because it doesn't agree with your point.

Okay, but they weren't in a stratosphere.
It's possible that they filled up the Heretic Station with something else, and the pressure is set so you won't die, but improbable. They don't really care.
The effects would be the same. Low pressure, the gases in your body get's funky.

Let's not forget the station was also originally Quarian.

I'd have to agree with Erl, GodWood. Normally you and I are totally on the same page, but you're being incredibly obtuse here.

Your assuming the station has to have low pressure when Legion makes no such comment. He alerts you about the low air and the low gravity but as he doesn't make a statement about pressure we must assume he didn't feel that an alert regarding that was necessary.
I hope you know that air isn't oxygen.
And he didn't feel to alert us because with low air comes

Samara's outfit had an exposed chest and heels, Miranda's was super thin and super tight to the point where her ****** was visible plus had heels and Jack was topless.
This is not comparable to the Commando armor which covered everything, appeared to be thicker than Miranda/Samara's outfits and managed to look practical.
You can't just write it off as "oh they're biotics" because than why can't I have my Shepard run around in some wh*re outfit and why do all the enemy biotics have to wear armor.
It's blatant fan service, nothing more.

Benezia was practically flashing the entire galaxy, Liara's outfit in the pic posted is bordering on Fetish wear.
I know you PERSONALLY don't like it and I can empathize but that doesn't change the facts.

Yes, my mistake - I do know the difference but I was just lumping them together rather lazily.
Again though the air pressure would need to be EXTREMELY low for them to die even though they are wearing an air mask which all of the squaddies are.

They don't need to die, but they will get pretty sick nowhere near to fight efficently.
This allso applies to that UNC mission where they walk around in chlorine. That stuff mixes with your tears. Ouch.

I won't argue about the helmet thing because even I and I'm a HUUUUGE ME2 mark thought the helmet designs for the most part were silly.
Also people can function for a limited time in low pressure (mountain climbers for example) and you're on the station for a shorter amount of time and comparitively doing less physical work than it takes to climb a mountain.

Plus, even if it's heated in Heretic Station (not unreasonable given all the computing gear in there), your eyes would not appreciate that at all, what with the constant evaporation of tears, and your not-designed-for-low-to-no-pressure clothing would do nothing to prevent swelling (Have fun Jack!). Even granting the clothes somehow handle it: great, now it's just your hands and other exposed flesh. Have fun trying to fire that weapon with giant purple and numb hands, not to mention your now bloated face.

I don't think anybody's saying Samara doesn't need to zip up. She should.
The heels are indeed pretty silly.
The light armor in ME1 isn't at all thicker than Samara, Miranda, or Jacob's outfits. They're exactly the same, and probably made of the same metal-dipped polymers and are thus equally protective if not moreso given the two-year technology gap.
Really, all that's needed is an infusion of greater practicality. No heels, everybody zips up, and Jack needs to actually HAVE armor. Also, helmets.

I agree with everything you just said except Jack's armor, I feel that you'd be losing a huge part of the "**** YOU" attitude if she suited up like everyone else, unless the environment is hostile in some way - then a suit is fine.
Jack could easily scar up and paint her armor to reflect her pissed off, destructive attitude. I'm picturing a black and orange affair with "DEATH" printed on there somewhere, a skull decal, a carciature of a hand flipping the bird, etc.
If Bioware really wanted to turn heads, she should have "Exit Only" on her rear and "No ****** Allowed" on the front of her waist or something.

I actually don’t have an issue w/ Jacob’s outfit I feel it’s a little snug on him and it looks odd but that’s it. I don’t get the feeling like he’s being exploited or overly sexualized now if he showed up to work in a Speedo then yeah I’d have a problem but he’s fully covered though given all the men around him are in casual easy fit wear it’s alittle off.
Miranda
Miranda here too it’s sung she’s going for the runway model in sexy grease monkey outfit but on ship she’s ok. I have an issue with her though when she takes her outfit into battle, space, or on the Quarian ship w/ a little ER mask and calls it a day. She needs armor when not on ship or on a safe hub.
Jack
Jack I do have a problem with Jack’s outfit I hate the inverse armor theory look which basically is the less clothing you wear the more protected you are it’s a concept I’ve always just hated it bothers me more the spandex space. I expect this type of look coming out of an anime I don’t expect this look in a space opera. There are many games I can’t stand to play or plainly won’t play due to bikini clad girls on battlefields and Jack’s outfit irks me on this one. She needs a shirt it could be short like a tummy showing one with baggy pants so she shows off some of her tattoos. Though I think the DLC vest outfit was the best one for her I would’ve been just happy if she was like this from the get go. Yes she has tattoos, in the DLC outfit I can see them just as well as her shirtless look the only difference is I’m not trying so hard to look at her face. She also has the same issue as Miranda the can’t seem to find her armor when going into space or combat. If she wants to wear her black DLC outfit on ship and safe ports I don’t care but when in battle wear armor even if said armor has spikes the size of Miami jutting out of them I’ll take that look over her inverse armor look anyday.
Samara
Samara I can’t help but think porn star when I see her. I don’t like the plunging neckline to me it doesn’t work for supermodels or in Hollywood I loose respect for women who wear these types of necklines. Her character was neat but her outfit made me cringe you can’t take that into battle! I’m not one for flash your enemies as a means of distraction if BW or any game wants this method then men need to flash too I’m sorry that’s just how I feel on that subject I’ve yet to find outside of Conan the Barbarian (and similar genre) a man with so little armor running into battle. In Conan’s case this works because of the time frame in which it was done loin cloths where standard wear now if Shepard’s only costume design was him running around in a loin cloth in space with only a breather mask and everytime he went into battle he convenitly never found his armor then this look doesn’t work for space opera and I would also be hating this outfit choice too. In Samara’s case they did originally make her outfit with a tasteful Vneck it’s just in game they elongated it down to at least her navel so if BW would’ve gone with the tasteful Vneck and gave her proper armor in space and on battlefields I wouldn’t have anything to say on the matter.
I just felt like primarily Jack and Samara’s looks where made up by some 14yr old kid. Sure it’s an M game but they used childish antics on their costume designs. The story line and subjects covered with in the story should be why the game gets an M rating not the costume design.
