It is however, hard to see. Heck, I still can't see my eyes.

I know what you mean. I had the graphics on low and all of my characters look like they had black eyes. All you have to do is turn it up to medium. If my PC can handle it, yours probabaly can.

Am I the only one missing blue eyes and blonde hair? I've got full settings, but the only eyecolors I can make out is basicly a wide variety of gray, one green, one brown and one black.
And nothing that could pass for blonde hair.

Having your settings low also degrades the quality of your character portrait. My computer can barely run NWN1 but I managed to create a character with the settings all the way up.

So that's why some people look like they've taken a dip in "base".

Yup Yup. I had the settings on low and I immediately noticed how strange my portrait looked compared to what id seen on here. So I went back and turned the settings on max just for the portrait part.

The problem is the lighting in the character creator. It's a torchlight yellow and a bit dim so that it's difficult to make out eye and hair colors.

I think you have to pay extra to download eyes.

If you turn up the gamma to around 3/4ths up, you can see the different eye colors much better. One which normally looks light brown is actually a pretty creepy yellow color.

Or if you order from mars you get bonus eyes.
Anyway i never suffered from this problem, i could see the eye colour fine and it changed with no problems, weird.
