As the title says, I haven't played this game in a looonnngg time. But I'm thinking playing it again. Just wondering if a few fine folks could recommend some single player modules to tackle as well as any add-ons or patches that I should be aware of during my absence. I did see the add-ons sticky but there were so many listed, I don't even know where to start lol. I would like to only the most necessary ones. At any rate, any direction you guys could give me to get the dust off would be greatly appreciated.

I've got many more but these are my most important addons:

SlimGUI - http://nwvault.ign.c...UI.Detail&id=74
Rod of Preparation - http://nwvault.ign.c...UI.Detail&id=62
Kaedrin's PRC Pack - http://nwvault.ign.c...l.Detail&id=209

Kaedrin's will not be compatible with most community modules but if it does work with a mod it's worth using just for all the fixes even if you don't use any of the PRCs etc.

Good modules are easy to find, just go through this list:

In addition to what manageri said, I suggest Tony K's AI.

For some medium length adventures, check out Sheep and Stone and the sequel Caravan Club. I enjoyed them both and the third in the series will be out this year. If you like playing a Wizard, check out my module (in the sig). It is designed specifically for Wizards and Sorcerors. Bards will work as well.

As far as epic length, Islander: A Dagger Forged is a longer module that I enjoyed.

Everybody, thanks so much for the responses. Looking forward to trying some of these modules out. I was playing WoW and am getting just sick of it. I miss the adventure and story elements as well as being able to play single player.
