I'd say my favorite is Kasumi and Tali.  Hard to decide which I like better.

As for least favorite, I'd say probably Thane.  The whole repentant assassin thing just doesn't impress me much, and his "Do as I say, not as I do" attitude in his loyalty mission is just... bad parenting LOL.

Tali and Garrus are my favourite. For ever and ever.

Jacob and Miranda (Zaeed eventually comes along) are the two (as I am dyslexic) least favourite characters. Oh, and Udina.

 I'm gonna go ahead and take this thread to the next level - RATINGS, baby! My ratings will be based entirely on how much I like the character, not on how useful they are in combat.

Ashley - 4/10. Irritating and sanctimonious. Better when she flirts.
Kaidan - 5. A bit dull, but well-meaning. Usually dies on Virmire.
Wrex - 10. Simply the best.
Garrus - 9. Better in ME1. Badass, but moral. Funny.
Liara - 9. Fell in love with her in ME1 (adorable), fell out of love with her to begin with in ME2 (not adorable enough), fell back in love with her again in LotSB (sexy).
Tali - 6. Nothing wrong as such, just not very interesting. Not sure she deserves so much love.
Jacob - 6. I like him when he's being cool. I dislike him strongly when he's being a **** (his loyalty mission, with Thane).
Miranda - 8. Irritatingly "girl power" to begin with, but softens up brilliantly and believably. Hawt.
Mordin - 8. Highly amusing, if a little rigid in his views.
Thane - 10. One of the most interesting videogame characters ever. I find myself hanging on his every word.
Samara - 10. Mystical, interesting, tragic, irresistably sexy.
Kasumi - 7. Yeah, she's kinda cool. Hot too.
Legion - 7. Disappointing. Was expecting big things, but he never quite grabbed me.
Grunt - 8. God I love krogans. Grunt's childish violence is incredibly endearing.
Jack - 7. I like her much more than expected, even if she's a little cliché. Better when she lets her guard down.
Zaeed - 2. The worst squadmate. Bland, one-dimensional, unnecessarily confrontational and pointlessly undermines Shep on a regular basis. Only reason he gets any marks at all is because he *occasionally* says something reasonably funny.

As a vanguard I hardly used neither Jacob nor Jack, but I really liked Jacob as a character. For my renegade soldier femShep playthrough, I'll make sure to use him more!



That being said, I really can't think of a single favourite, I love Mordin, Garrus, Grunt (he tanked me out of a few hard spots with his armorboost ability), Legion etc.



The only one I really didn't like was Jack, esp her introduction in prison when she killed 2 heavy mechs (that was just corny). I did like her a little bit more after her loyalty mission, but not by much.

Wow, hard to say. I mean, there are a lot of characters I like: Liara, Wrex, Thane, Miranda, Samara, Grunt, Zaeed, Kasumi. Mordin is kinda funny too.



I do not like: Ashley, Kaidan, Garrus, TALI, Jack, Morinth, Jacob. For some of them I really do not care much, but some are totally screwed.

shepard is actually my least favorite. i think hes a douche, and its my fault for playing him that way.

I had Tali and Liara in my squad through the entire game of ME1.  I didn't care for Wrex.
